Rolling Blackouts Will Engulf Our Region!
The Electric Reliability Council of Texas has ordered rolling blackouts during the arctic blast, according to Click2Houston.com. So if you're not warm enough yet, you're not about to get any warmer. The agency states that this is all due to a generation shortage. So while I'm keeping warm @ MD Anderson Cancer Center, because hospitals and nursing homes are excluded from the blackouts, my love Ryan and our puppies may be freezing their buns off for 45 minutes at most.
The agency states they have no idea how long the blackouts will be needed, but the forecast for the next few days doesn't look too good. I'm so glad Friday is my day off. For those that work on Friday, don't lose hope. Seeing that things look more grim as the weekend approaches, there's a possibility for closures.

Yes, the state is ordering Rolling Blackouts. Be prepared!
Rolling blackouts are such a sham. Why don't the take all the money they have been overcharging for the last 20 years and build a better infrastructure? Oh wait, the CEO has to have a private jet right? Bet his power won't go out.
I couldn't agree with you more Tony. And you're right, the CEO is sitting on his 24k gold toilet reading this post on his iPad right now, no doubt about it.
But our home is so warm and toasty right now...
