My Facebook friend, Melissa Novak just posted a photo on her wall that really moved me.  Look, I'll be honest I'm not one for tattoos.  I don't have one, so pardon my ignorance. But I do want to share this photo.

As we all know Facebook has little robots in the background who will remove images that are not appropriate, but I can make a promise right now - I will never remove this one from my blog...

I work in the Breast Medical Oncology department at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and witness the horrors women - mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, etc. face day in and day out.  And even today, I will never understand what it's like to live with this horrible disease - Breast Cancer.

Dropped From Country Music Record Label? Become A Supermodel

So what happens when you're an up and coming country music star, and get signed on to a record label? 

Make lots of money and become a famous Nashville star!!!

Not so much. You become a supermodel and become best friends with a really hot guy named Rodiney Santiago.  LOL.

Actually, Josey Greenwell, the gorgeous country music singer you see on your left, had it all going for him until he was kicked off a record label for being gay.

    "After we had been recording for months, they found out I was gay and dropped me from the record label and debut album wasn't released. I ended up finishing the project myself and spent all that year promoting it myself and trying to get any kind of help I could. They said, "Music isn't ready for something as controversial as you and we sure as hell won’t be the first label to have it."

    I don't think that is true at all and actually think music is READY for someone like me to come along! Music can put someone on such a pedestal and it's up to them whether or not they use that for the greater good and I definitely feel like I am not only strong enough, but now brave enough to be able to stand up for millions of people out there just like me and stand as a role model with my music."

I don't know about you, but I think Nashville really fucked up on this one. Literally. Geezus, this guy is beautiful!

Are People Really This Stupid?

OMG, talk about my most annoying post ever!  Better yet, the most dumbest, stupidest post ever.  In the video below, a guy named Stephen goes on a tirade when a tattooist tries to ink him.  

The kid wanted a tattoo for his 18th birthday, but as soon as the tattooist continues his work, the boy starts screaming and yelling, telling the tattooist his hands are dirty; That he (the tattooist) is dirty, and tells him he doesn't like being touched.  Keep in mind, he's been there 3 hours already.  

When the tattooist starts to ink him again, he starts to scream off his lungs telling the tattooist that he's a freaking weirdo for touching him.  Towards the end of the video, he storms out and yells at his friend, "and Your'e Gay!"

Are people really this stupid?  Seriously?

Jesus! I love this boy - Marlon Teixeira.  Last month, he was on the cover of Ey! Magazine from Brazil, how could I have missed this? LOL.

You may recall, Marlon was recently featured on my weekly series, "The Boy Next Door" back on May 31st - his photos are absolutely gorgeous.   Marlon has also been featured in several past issues of "Swimsuit Saturdays," "Guys With Caps," "Ads That Make You Sweat," and my very first blog post, in "The Cover Boys of Coitus Magazine"

To Tattoo or Not To Tattoo, That is The Question...

This is actually an old pic that's been circulating for quite some time.  I thought I should post it, because it never hurts to share stupidity and hypocrisy where it exists.  Ah the Christian heart, you gotta love'm.

This gentleman thought he would quote scripture by printing a tattoo on his arm from Leviticus 18:22 where the Lord says, 'you shall not lie with a male as one does with a woman.'  I guess the moron forgot to read the following chapter - in Leviticus 19:28, where the Lord forbids anyone from inking themselves with tattoos.

Zac Efron Skateboards With An Open Shirt and Even Hotter Body!

 

I don't get it... I thought they said he was getting fat?  He doesn't look fat to me, in fact, Zac Efron looks like a mighty fine piece of meat.  

The star of the "Lucky One" recently took a stroll on his skateboard through Manhattan Beach,  And nevermind that his new "tattoo" went viral on the internet 3 days ago.   

I'm sure my friend and co-worker, Rosa, wouldn't mind seeing additional pictures of our dreamy hunk here.

Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Tribute - Issue No. 1

Being that yesterday was the 1st day of  Houston's Livestock Show & Rodeo, and will be for the next 19 days, I thought I would pay a small tribute to all the cowboys out there.

Photoshopped or not, Ryan Phillippe still looks good.  So he's been brushed up a little, wrinkles removed to look like he's 18 going on 17 when in reality he's 36.  Okay, so InStyle magazine went a little overboard.

Either way, he's still mighty fine.  Though, they could have used the Men's Health photos from last May; those were superb quality and more of the way he's supposed to look.
