$1, really? Hell, even the 2, 3, 4 and 5 dollar ticket prices sound amazing. Talk about a deal.
Ironically enough, the vintage ad is for a concert at the old Astrodome here in Houston.
If only the ticket prices still existed. LOL. As for the Astrodome, it's still standing; for now.

Violinist vs. Nokia [video]
I don't know about you, but nothing is more annoying than when you're in a meeting and someone's cell phone goes off. I know, because mine has gone off a couple of times, and it annoys the crap out of people. Same thing goes for movie theaters, except you can't tape people's mouths shut. LOL. I meant they're cell phones go off in movie theaters as well.
But most importantly, when you're a violinist and performing in front of several hundred people, or maybe a couple of judges, what do you do when a cell phone starts ringing? Oh, I know! Mimic the cell phone ring tone during your performance!

On February 5th, A Legend Will Rock America's Largest Stage...
Madonna will take center stage at halftime of Super Bowl XLVI, flanked by Cirque du Soleil performers in what traditionally is one of the year's most watched shows.
The NFL announced Sunday night, in a press release, that the Michigan-born singer would headline the halftime show on February 5, 2012, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
She follows other high-profile acts in recent years, including the Black Eyed Peas and Usher during the most recent edition of pro football's championship game at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. [source]
