Showtime released a video of Dexter's excuses over the last 7 seasons.  Can you beat them all?  Probably not, but one thing I'll definitely miss about this show is Deb's crazy cuss words.  And yes, the video is NSFW, because of the explicit language - so put some headphones or something.

Season 2 of Shameless Premieres Tomorrow Night! [video]

If you haven't seen the television series Shameless, shame on you.  You're missing out on a good show.  Ryan and I watched the first season last year and have been looking forward to the second season for almost a year now.  The second season premieres tomorrow night on Showtime at 8 PM Central Time.  

For those unfamiliar with the show... it centers around a dysfunctional Chicago family that manages to function against all odds. The father drinks more often than not, he has a son whose smart, but uses his smarts to get what he wants.  He has another son whose gay who slept with his Muslim boss while exploring his sexuality,  a younger son who loves getting in to trouble, a daughter who keeps the family together and who's pretty much the head of the household, another daughter who is the most sensitive of them all - she's young, has a good heart but most of all, sneaky.  And finally there's Liam, the little black toddler who we have yet to find out where he came from.  All we know is that he has two white parents.

Dexter Reacts to Casey Anthony Verdict

This is genius! LMAO.  Watch as Dexter reacts to the Casey Anthony "not guilty" verdict.  

For those who have no idea who I'm talking about, Dexter is a fictional character who portrays a "Blood Splatter Analyst" for the Miami Metro Police in a Showtime series with the same name.

In secret, and on his own time, Dexter hunts down criminals who have been found guilty of a crime, and kills them.  Not just any crime, these people are murderers, wife-beaters and sexual predators.  Well... Dexter likes to rid the earth of these people, and kills them.  Thing is... he enjoys it, and takes pride in his work.

What's sad is that there are actually people out there who have it in for Casey, so she better watch out for the real life Dexter.

Dexter is Pushed Back!!! What Is The World Coming To?

Earlier we learned that Mad Men's creator and writer went mad, and is not giving us any more episodes until the year 2012.  Now I learn that Dexter has been pushed back a month, until October.  Here we are (Ryan and I), waiting for another great season of Dexter (Season 6) to premiere in September, and now we have to wait another damn month!  

This isn't about money, so I guess that makes me feel somewhat better.  

Michael C. Hall sat alongside Sarah Silverman on their film's press day and answered a few questions about their new movie, Peep World.  In it, he mentions that shooting for season 6 of Dexter wouldn't start till May and that it would air sometime around mid-October.

"I go back to Dexter in May, to start shooting Season 6. We’ll go until late October and the show will air in mid-October, or something like that."

So, I guess no Dexter till October, but that's okay, because mine and Ryan's friends have started watching Dexter as our regular Sunday showing since we finished watching Queer As Folk in February.   

We continue this Sunday with the 3rd episode of Season One.

Queer As Folk: Where Are They Now?

In 2000 I was single and living the big life.  I remember sitting in my living room with my 6 month old Chihuahua Princess and a bowl of popcorn.  We were about to witness "Change" in America before change ever existed.   The most controversial show to ever air on American Television, Queer as Folk, became the talk of the town. Everyone knew about it, Gay or Straight, it didn't matter. 

Other than Star Trek Voyager, I was hooked for the next five seasons as Brian, Justin, Michael, Ted, Lindsay, Melanie, and Emmett threw all of their gay drama in our faces.  And not to mention all the other characters who touched our lives, like Debbie, Vick, Hunter, Ben, and countless others.  

When the show ended in the summer of 2005,  another relationship had met it's end - my 4 year relationship with David Mackey.  But...

My new one with Ryan Lopez started shortly thereafter!!!!!!

I was living in my new apartment alone, because Ryan hadn't moved in with me yet,  And even though a hurricane was in the forecast, it wasn't until the final episode came to an end, that reality finally hit me.

I was hooked on a show that would never come back!!!!

Flash forward 5 years and I'm sitting in mine and Ryan's living room with our friends, Michael and Renee watching the final episode of Queer As Folk, just like it was yesterday.  We started watching the entire series last April and continued through the Summer, Fall and Winter of 2010, finishing the series last week.
    

Queer As Folk's 10th Anniversary was on December 3rd, 2010 and tonight I'd like to introduce my friends, Michael and Renee to TV Squad, to share and let them know "where are they now."
