Yesterday, I posted the United States according to Texas, and today they really treat us like crap...
I get it, everyone's still pissed over the New York post from last week.

What a Hot Mess: How Did He Survive?
This is a question not even the guy in the video below can answer (probably because he was on drugs).
The National Geographic channel has a new show that Ryan and I may have to record, it is called "The Indestructibles". It's a show that discovers how anyone can survive a "more than sure" fatal accident, fully recover from their injuries, and live to tell about it.
We missed the show on Sunday night, but it's airing again this Thursday. The episode is called "Flying Car Crash" and airs at 9:30 PM Central Time.
Here is the description to the trailer you're about to see. What a Hot Mess!

A normal morning in Ohio turns disastrous when a driver speeding down the highway loses control. The car barrels down the grassy median, collides with the guardrail and is instantly airborne. It slams into the center post of the overpass and explodes into thousands of small pieces. A nearby witness finds the bloodied and mangled body of 19-year-old Brennan Eden. Miraculously, he completely recovers. Eden has no memory of the accident and no idea of how he survived. But he is on a journey to find out how with the help of a stunt driving team and a crash investigator. Through a series of experiments that re-enact the crash, well uncover what caused the car to go airborne. Experts also reveal how Brennan survived the accident, which would have killed most drivers.

Wal-Martians - A People of Wal-Mart Song
You gotta love Wal-Mart. I mean, where else can you go to find low, low prices and genuine people like this?
Yeah, my thoughts exactly.
I'll be honest, Ryan and I shop there, and sometimes we go to "Tar-Jay" (Target). I don't see the need to pay $5 for a jar of pickles when I can get it at Wally Mart for $2.
In either case, Mr. Walmartian has posted a fabulous song using pictures from the "People of Wal-Mart" site. The song is titled, "Wal-Martians," and it is absolutely hilarious. Check it out...

Okay, so not all Texans would agree, but the majority of them do think like this... LOL.
I guess after last week's post of New York, we Texans deserve this. Wait for tomorrow's post, we get kicked even harder.

Must Watch: Gay Marriage with The Edge of Glory
I pray for the day when I can say "I do" to the man I love whole-heartedly, my partner Ryan. With tears running down my face, I watched this heart-warming video of a gay couple through the years, from the day they met, to the moment they got married - it is truly beautiful. Lady Gaga's, "The Edge of Glory" was chosen as the backdrop for the video, where many are saying, "as far as i'm concerned, this IS the official music video."
Posted by rebelwthcause on YouTube, the description reads:
This video is for everybody. Who has ever loved. And has been loved in return. To those that think it never does or will get better. It does. It does get better, it becomes beautiful.

Movies in Rewind: Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows - Part 2
Ryan and I went to see Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 yesterday morning, because we didn't want to deal with the long lines, and annoying people who love to make noise during the movie. Besides, it was only $4 a ticket at 10:15 AM, compared to $8.50 for the evening show.
For 10 years we have watched Harry, Ron and Hermione grow, but better yet, we grew with all of them. It's no wonder why we were emotionally drained after watching this movie. Almost everyone I know was a child, teenager, or 20-year-old when they watched the first movie.
I moved to Houston in 2001, when the Sorcerer's Stone was released, and it was an extraordinary year for many reasons, not forgetting the 9/11 disasters that put our country in terrible distress. I will truly miss this amazing saga and it will cherished by millions for generations to come.
So first things first, if you don't want to be spoiled, then don't read this, but if you already read the books, or have already seen the movie, then this issue of "Movies in Rewind" will not bother you.
We already knew Harry was the "Chosen One" since the very first movie, but we didn't know about the Horcruxes, or that he had to destroy them in order to kill Voldermort. We learned about that in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.
Just FYI, Horcruxes "are vessels in which a sorcerer may preserve a portion of his soul indefinitely. Anchoring a part of the soul to the earth by placing it in a Horcrux prevents the sorcerer's soul from going onwards should the sorcerer's body die; the effective result is that, given appropriate spells, the sorcerer can be brought back to life. This is considered to be among the darkest of all magic." - Wikibooks
Well, there were 7 of them, and Harry had to destroy them all by the end of the movie. The first two had already been destroyed by Dumbledore and Harry, respectively.
It would take me weeks to write down everything I want to share about the movie. Unfortunately, I don't have that amount of time.
Overall, the movie was absolutely fantastic! It was full of action, adventure, intrigue and mystery. The fight scenes were awesome, the deaths of major characters emotionally heart-breaking, and sad. The death of Bellatrix Lestrange by Ron's mother Molly Weasley was exceptionally thrilling - the best part of the movie!
Well.... I honestly can't pinpoint the best part - I enjoyed it all!
This movie deserves a 10 out of 10 rating, or 5 out of 5 stars, take your pick. I would be surprised if it didn't get nominated for an Academy Award.

Just This Side of Heaven is a Special Place Called The Rainbow Bridge...
Today marked the one year anniversary of my chihuahua Princess' death.
While the day was spent with the person who matters more to me than anything, or anyone in the world (my partner Ryan), I had Princess on my heart all day.
Princess was everything to me. For 9 long years, she was there to comfort me in times of sorrow, there to greet me when I came home from work, there for me when I was excited about something, and she'd get excited too! But most importantly, she made me happy.
I miss you so terribly much my little Princess, but just you wait, I will be there soon enough, across that Rainbow bridge.
When my baby Princess died, the cremation service gave me this beautiful poem, and I have never forgotten it.

Movies to Watch: The Thing (First Full-length Trailer)
I'd have to say that after watching the following trailer, they have done a really great job re-creating everything surrounding the original movie.
This prequel of the same name to The Thing, was a horror/suspense/thriller released in the early 1980's. I had never seen it before (for fear of scary movies), until Ryan and I bought the DVD for our collection. I'd have to say, it instantly became a genuine classic amongst our 1,300 Blu-ray/DVDs.
I'm actually glad they didn't remake the movie, but instead gave us an insight into what happened before the events of the original movie. I don't want to spoil it for everyone, but I highly recommend you watch the first movie.
The trailer below doesn't spoil anything, so you can see this and the original.

Ryan and I have a Koi pond, so this hits close to home. He (Ryan) will get a kick out of this when he sees it. A little duckling acting more like a mother, than a child, feeds some Koi and then goes for a dip - it's one of the cutest things ever!

So Is This Dexter As A Woman?
I'm not sure how many of you know who Paz de la Huerta is, but she's an American actress who has appeared in more than 30 movies, and most recently, HBO's "Boardwalk Empire."
Huerta has been cast in the new movie, "Nurse 3D," and earlier this week the first concept art was released. Yes those crazy folks at Lionsgate are at it again. These are the same ones who brought you those crazy movies like SAW and Hostel.
Paz de la Huerta will be playing a character by the name of Abby Russell, who's a beautiful, hard-working nurse by day, and an evil bitch by night. Think of Dexter, but with long legs, long hair, and boobies.
No, really it's about her punishing bad, bad men. She purposely goes after dishonest ones, and kills them. Sounds pretty interesting; We'll just have to wait and see.

The Very Yummy Chandler Massey and Our Soap Operas
Oh, how I miss my soap operas. I remember when Ryan and I used to sit and watch "Young and the Restless" and "Guiding Light." Those were the "Days of Our Lives." LOL.
I've watched them my whole life. I guess I could blame my mother for this, because I watched them through high school, and college. Sometimes I would schedule my classes around "All My Children," "Days of Our lives," and "As The World Turns," just so I could see what was going to happen with Palmer, Bo, and Holden. LOL.
I was watching "One Life to Live" when Ryan Phillippe played the first gay character on a daytime soap. He had to deal with coming out at a time when this sort of thing was unheard of.
Well... "Days of Our Lives" has taken on the gay issue, as almost all the shows have now. But what makes this one so different from all the rest is, that none have been as hot as this one. :-) If I said I wasn't in love with Chandler Massey, I'd be lying. So I'll be honest, I'm in love with him. He is so damn delicious.
In either case, kudos to Chandler for being a supporter of our Gay cause and for portraying a closeted homosexual until Scott (blue tank top) brings him "out" on the show. He was recently caught scoping Scott out, so it's only a matter of time. Scroll up and skim through all the pictures, you know you want to.

Dexter Reacts to Casey Anthony Verdict
This is genius! LMAO. Watch as Dexter reacts to the Casey Anthony "not guilty" verdict.
For those who have no idea who I'm talking about, Dexter is a fictional character who portrays a "Blood Splatter Analyst" for the Miami Metro Police in a Showtime series with the same name.
In secret, and on his own time, Dexter hunts down criminals who have been found guilty of a crime, and kills them. Not just any crime, these people are murderers, wife-beaters and sexual predators. Well... Dexter likes to rid the earth of these people, and kills them. Thing is... he enjoys it, and takes pride in his work.
What's sad is that there are actually people out there who have it in for Casey, so she better watch out for the real life Dexter.

Movies to Watch - Maybe: Contagion
So what do all the following actors have in common?
They star in a movie together.... yep, it's another virus outbreak movie. Never seen one? I'm going to pretend you didn't ask yourself that question.
So yea, Gwyneth Paltrow plays a character in the movie,"Contagion" who contracts the "bird flu." Well, the Avian Flu, but oh well, "tomato, toe-ma-to," same thing. And Matt Damon plays her grieving husband. Yea she dies! I didn't spoil it dammit - it's in the trailer. geez!
Point of the movie, someone gets the virus, touches another person, the virus spreads, a gazillion people die, and our cities become a wasteland. Think "28 days" later without the zombies, think Stephen King's, "The Stand" without the prophet of God. Would you watch it? Probably so.

What a Hot Mess: "Lightning Never Strikes Twice"
This has got to be one of the most bizarre things I have ever read. On Sunday afternoon, a man from New Jersey died when a lightning struck a tree he was standing next to.
According to MSNBC, Stephen Rooney decided to have a cigar, so he did what any respectful person would do, walk away from the barbecue to smoke it. He turns around and tells his family, "Don't worry guys, lightning never strikes twice." He was talking about his Father, who died 48 years earlier by a bolt of lightning while he was fishing. What a hot mess!
What does this teach you? That life is too short, and nature doesn't give a rat's ass about truisms!

Madonna's Gaga Nightmare
This has got to be the most hilarious shit ever! OMG! It's a parody on all our gay icons, minus Britney, thank God! The video titled, "Madonna's Gaga Nightmare," focuses on Madonna trying to revive her career. So what does she do? She calls up Lady Gaga, and simply asks her to give it back. Gaga doesn't know who she is, and hangs up on her several times. Madonna then proceeds to tell her, “You’ve stolen my looks, my music, and my gays and I want it back!” But Lady Gaga keeps hanging up on her.
So she then calls up Cher to apologize for stealing the gays from her back in the 80's, but Cher doesn't want to hear any of it, and hangs up on her too.
Madonna, can't take it anymore, and decides to go to an anonymous group which is run by "Sue Sylvester," and finds other famous icons in the support group, Diana Ross, Liza Minnelli, and Barbara Streisand. It is absolutely hilarious.
So how does her nightmare end? Watch the video below and find out.

Who Would You Rather Have? Someone Who Compromises To Get Things Done or Someone Who Sticks To Their Principles?
Was there ever really any question? Look at the chart below, it's plain and simple folks! No, I mean really look at it!
Republicans have their heads so far up their asses, that our nation will ultimately fall. If they don't start compromising on the issues we value most, you can mark my words, we will be a 3rd world country in a matter of time. We may not be around to witness it, but our children and grandchildren will.
To see the rise of the greatest nation on earth, and see it fall in the span of only 500 years, is not something I'd like to witness. But if America keeps electing these idiots, then you'll see it, I can almost guarantee it.
