A Hot Mess of Really Stupid People: National Anthem Sparks Racist Tweets

Once again I'm stuck between a "Hot Mess" of "Stupid People".  I swear, some people have nothing better to do with their lives.

Not sure if any of you watch America's Got Talent.  Ryan and I do, so we clearly know the 10 year-old Mariachi singer, Sebastian De La Cruz, who sang the National Anthem during the SPURS game last night.  Well, even though the little lad is American, it didn't stop the racism from coming out.  These idiots clearly do not know they're ancestors were immigrants themselves or slaves at one point.  The following images are courtesy of publicshaming.tumblr.com

“I’m highly upset that THIS MEXICAN KID is singing the anthem.” lmao. Wait a few years Grace and tell us how you feel when the majority of the country is Hispanic. I look forward to hearing from you then!

Can you name another President or World Leader who has been outspoken and supportive of LGBT equality?  No, you can't.

What is even more striking about the quote and video below is that at the end of Tuesday's news conference, The President wasn't initially asked about Collins.  

As he was leaving the podium, he turned around, came back and said this: 

"Yeah, I’ll say something about Jason Collins. I had a chance to talk to him yesterday. He seems like a terrific young man, and, you know, I told him I couldn’t be prouder of him. You know, one of the extraordinary measures of progress that we’ve seen in this country has been the recognition that the LGBT community deserves full equality, not just partial equality, not just tolerance but a recognition that they’re fully a part of the American family.

And, you know, given the importance of sports in our society, for an individual who’s excelled at the highest levels in one of major sports go ahead and say, this is who I am, I’m proud of it, I’m still a great competitor, I’m still seven feet tall and can bang with Shaq and, you know, deliver a hard foul — and for, you know, a lot of young people out there who, you know, are — are — are, you know, gay or lesbian, who are struggling with these issues, to see a role model like that who’s unafraid, I think it’s a great thing. And I think America should be proud that this is just one more step in this ongoing recognition that we treat everybody fairly. OMG, talk about hilarious!  Leave it up to Saturday Night Live to mock the recent firing of Mike Rice over at Rutgers.  The university's men's basketball coach was fired after a video surfaced of him throwing basketballs at his players, along with using gay slurs.

So we have two openly gay rappers who love to make music videos featuring really hot guys.  And when I mean hot, I mean hot.  I'm sure you remember the music video, "Likin' Big Dicks" by Jonny McGovern that I posted back in August.  Definitely NSFW, but extremely hot.  

And I'm sure you remember Cazwell, wanting to show us his "Ice Cream Truck," and wanted some "Money Back" for it.  

Let's just say, they have no shame when it comes to portraying half-naked men in their music videos, and who's complaining?  I sure am not.  Check out Jonny's new music video, "DICKMATIZED."

This time Johnny shoots hoops instead of playing soccer.  He and his "homo-homies" have a little bit of fun checking out his competition - hotties in low-rise shorts showing off their perfect bodies.  What's not to like?

Through The Streets of Brooklyn in High Definition

Shot on Rule Boston Camera's Phantom Flex camera, this astonishing film, 8 Hours in Brooklyn, directed by Jonathan Bregel is absolutely breathtaking.  

The footage was shot with an 8 hour span in Brooklyn, NYC and features people going about their regular day.  From kids playing basketball to skaters boarding through the streets, kids's playing slip 'n slide, and a tattooist inking someone.  The images are captivating and mind blowing, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

May you all have a safe and happy 4th of July.  Be careful with your fireworks if you're in an area that can use them.  I know that in my home state of Texas, no one is allowed to pop any, due to the extreme weather conditions and severe drought.  Well... I'm sure we can pop them, if we want to go to jail.
