It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 011

Today's issue of Some Pretty Cool Stuff has something for everyone; The redneck (gay or straight), who loves drinking beer, children who want to get creative with their bedroom walls, and couples who love to lounge around, reading or having a conversation.

Cap Zappa
For the beer-chugging guys who have nothing else better to do with their time or their bottle caps. LOL.  This little contraption spits out bottle caps and projects them up to 16 feet. I'm thinking this would be kinda fun, but not so sure after everyone is intoxicated.  Maybe it has a warning. LOL. $10.49

Burgerdoodles Wallpaper
This actually is really cool, and I wouldn't mind having one for myself.  Sure, kids would have fun coloring their walls for a lifetime, but you're never too old when it comes to art, right?  Take your pick from a variety of scenes, from New York to Doggie Doodles, and witness your very own artistic talent come to life. $53.00

Loopita Bonita Lounge
Spring is here and Summer is around the corner!  What better way to relax than on your very own two-person lounge chair.  Imagine drinking some Margaritas and reading the next Game of Thrones book on this baby.  Feel free to check out the added pictures here.

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 010

Are you ready for Some Pretty Cool Stuff?

Let's just say that if you had limited living space, this would probably benefit you.  Think IKEA in a box.  No, this is not made by the company, but it made me think of them.

The Room In A Box
Casulo - The Mobile Living Furniture is just that "A Room in a Box".  And it measures only 4' x 3' in size.  There are no tools required, yet out of this box you will have a desk, shelves, a wardrobe, chairs, and a bed.

I think it's pretty cool, check out the video for assembly.

Now, for the more expensive of the two, but also with very limited space.

The Yo! Home - Transforming Apartment
You've probably seen these type of customizations before.  But nothing like this - it's pretty darn cool.  Call it the Yo! Home.  And Simon Woodroffe wants to make this available for everyone!  Imagine having your bed fall from the ceiling over your living area?

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 008

I'm eager to share "Some Pretty Cool Stuff" I found on the internet this week.  One of the items can even help you in the event you're held captive in another country or your own home.

For those with limited space, the other two items - the bucket and the hanger are definite must-haves.  I have always wanted a hanger for my gym bag so that I can easily store it away after I put on my dress shirt for work.  And the bucket? Well, I don't really need one, but it would be very convenient to have in my garage for washing my car.

Let's start off with this pretty cool bucket.

Pack-Away Bucket
Once in a while we all need a bucket. No need for cheap plastic or heavy, galvanized metal versions that are cumbersome and awkward to store. Enter the award-winning Pack-Away bucket: another of life's little problems solved by Wacky Practicals. Buy $31

SOLO Collapsible Hanger
Don’t let your closet slow you down. SOLO is a collapsible hanger that makes it easy to hang and remove clothes in one swift motion. Its unique design allows you to insert into a wide array of shirts, and then grab and go with just one hand!
-4 hangers in each set
-Collapsible design for grabbing clothes in a single motion
-Slim shape for easy insertion into button-up shirts and turtlenecks
-Folds for travel and storage
-Smooth polypropylene plastic in choice of white or charcoal
Buy $10.99

Titanium Escape Ring
It's a simple but elegant-looking ring made of titanium, cut from solid barstock and polished to a mirror finish.
But unlike all other rings, this one contains a saw and handcuff shim pick combination tool which is completely hidden from view when worn.
Located on a finger, its always in the exact area needed to quickly access and deploy, even when handcuffed.
The shim can be used to open single-locked handcuffs, while the saw can cut zip-ties, disposable handcuffs, duct tape, rope, and other non-metallic materials. Currently out of stock, but when available it will cost you $79.95

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 007

I've come across "Some Pretty Cool Stuff" today, and wish to share them with you. You may find them a little over the top, but I think they're necessary - It's just window shopping, c'mon. LOL.

Let's start off with this amazing bed...

The Desk Bed
I can't mention how many times I've fallen asleep at my desk in my home office.  I think this desk bed would be ideal.  Click on the pic and it will take you to the A-Design Award and Competition page.  Once there, look at the cool pics. This would be great if you had your own business and worked late at night. hmmm...

Stick-N-Find
Yep, stick it anywhere and you will find it!  Seriously.  The sticker is only the size of a quarter - so you can stick it on your luggage, your shoes, your briefcase, your husband.  Then you get on your iPhone and search for it, or HIM! LOL. 3-Pack $69.99

W Series Sports Walkman
Everyone enjoys swimming, everyone gets wet, so why not get a waterproof headset?  It holds 4GB of storage and the battery lasts 8 hours!!!  And if you only need an hour, charge it for 3 minutes. $99.99

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 006

Yay!!! It's time for "Some Pretty Cool Stuff"...

I figured that since I'm constantly in the kitchen creating recipes, cooking and enjoying life - today's issue would consist of three must-haves for the kitchen.

Let's start off with the Quirky Ribbon Baking Pan!

The Ribbon is a modular baking pan that allows you to control the shape and the size of the baking area. Using the silicone band that attaches to the steel baking sheet with magnets, you can shape the baking area to fit the needs of your recipe and create different shaped molds for your cakes, brownies, and your most decadent desires. Ding! When you’re done baking simply peel away the silicone band to unleash those delicious treats!
Unfortunately this item isn't for sell yet, but they can sign me up!

The Quirky Pluck!
From bodybuilders to soccer moms, egg whites are a great healthy breakfast choice. But separating the yolk from the whites can seem like pulling a rabbit from a hat. Enter Quirky’s Pluck, the yolk extractor you’ll have to see to believe. Simply place it over the yolk of an already cracked egg, squeeze the silicone chamber, and release to suck the egg yolk up into it. To dispose of its contents, just give Pluck another squeeze and move onto the next egg. When finished, separate the two pieces and wash by hand or in the dishwasher. Buy $12.99 video

The Corn Kerneler!
Wow, this would definitely help me with making sweet corn tamales! Thanks to the stainless steel blades in this contraption, it makes plucking the corn off the cob seem like child's play. $12.95

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 005

Now, here are "Some Pretty Cool Stuff" I would like.  I mean, think about never owning "live" fish again!  Ryan and I have a Koi Pond and we used to keep a 40 gallon aquarium in the house, so you can just imagine how much work that can be.  I know this is only on my 5th issue, but I've actually come across some pretty cool stuff, don't you think?  I hope you like this series as much as I do, because it's fun posting them every week.  Hey, who knows? I may introduce you to something you never heard of before. :-)

Bar Games Drink Coasters
Okay, I don't go out to bars anymore, and even if I did, I don't think I would have the time to sit and play with games at the bar.  But I wouldn't mind having this at my bar at home - provided I had a bar at home. LOL.  Well, let's just say when Ryan and I move into our new home I would like one, and these could sit on the counter. These unique coasters contain 30 amusing games, ranging from “I Spy” to “Peanut Darts”; so you'll have plenty to talk (and laugh) about, up to your very last drink! They come in a set of 30, made of 85% recycled paper pulp - so they're good for the environment and your drunk friends and family! :-) $12.99

Electronic Goldfish in a Bowl
As I mentioned earlier, it takes a lot of patience and work to raise live fish.  Ryan and I have a Koi Pond outside and it's one of the most costliest things we ever got ourselves into.  And the same thing goes for raising fish in Aquariums.  But alas, some of you are lazy and forget to feed the little dudes. And you're probably ever so tired of all the toilet bowl funerals. But what if there was an easier way to enjoy a goldfish without having to worry about food? There is (woo hoo!) and it is the Electronic Goldfish in a Bowl. Put fresh batteries into the top, push the base decoration into the bowl, fill the bowl with water, and put the top back on. Tap the top and the fishy "swims" around - looking quite alive. $19.99

What To Cook? Dice
I love to cook, and often times I'm stuck not knowing what I want to cook for dinner.  In the end, my philosophy is you can never go wrong with Chicken, so I just pick that and go from there.  But what if you could throw some dice and let them make the decision for you?  Provided you had all the ingredients.  In either case, their
a delightful addition to any kitchen - make a game of cooking, mix it up, get creative, get inspired.  Each set (because you know there had to be a set for Vegetarians) of 14 handmade dice come packed in a handy re-purposed spice jar.  You have your basics - from eggs, rice - to the exotic - hot chiles, fennel, bok choy. includes grains, veggies, herbs and (in the omnivore set) meats too. $20.00

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 004

I came across "Some Pretty Cool Stuff" that I want, but would probably be useless to me at this point in my life.  But who cares - I still want them.  In this week's issue there's a promising product that hasn't made it on the market quite yet, but every camper would love. And if you're a guitar player, the first product on my wishlist today serves two purposes - to cut up your credit cards, and create your own picks.

The Pickmaster Plectrum Punch
I would have loved one of these when I had my guitar.  It is definitely the perfect accessory for guitar players, and we’re not talking about the colored button-pressing variety. It’s essentially a rock-inspired hole puncher designed to turn old gift cards, ids, and credit cards into personalized strummers. So kiss those worries about your pick clashing with your mullet and sequins goodbye. $39.00
The Free Key - Key Ring
I wish i had some of these now ~ just broke a nail swapping keys around on traditional key rings this weekend! These Free Key “Press-To-Open” flat keyrings by Eric von Schoultz made of sand blasted stainless steel are nail savers ~ just press/pinch and the leverage helps open the end! Nice and easy to slip the keys on and off when needed. Cute packaging as well ~ see lots of pics on the next page!  Unfortunately these are not for sale in the U.S., but you can purchase them on Amazon! $10.70

Orange's Concept Solar Tent
Now this is totally cool, what more could you ask for?  I would have seriously wanted one of these when I was in the Boy Scouts!  A solar tent with a heating floor, a place to charge your accessories, WiFi capability and the best part of it all - it glows in the dark.  That's what I'm talking about.  This tent hasn't gone into production just yet, but a concept tent was revealed over in Europe and you can read all about it here.  Check it out, the article is great.

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 003

Yay, it's time for Some Pretty Cool Stuff, LOL.

Well... I guess that's really up to you to decide. But for me, I'm always finding cool stuff online, especially things that I need.  I will try my best to list where you can purchase the item.  If I can't find it and you do, please let me know by leaving a comment.

The Kleenex Pillow
Who could not use this thing?  Being that I have a huge problem with sinuses and I'm always sniffling and snuffling, this would be perfect!  Or if you cry watching movies in bed - c'mon do I need to keep going?  Only problem is, it's a bit pricey.  $75.00

The Portable Chair
Now you don't have to wait in line for 30 minutes, you can pull out the cardboard portable chair and have a place to sit in seconds.  You'll be reading your book in no time. LOL. $9.00

Colored Pencil Display
Being that I was in Art for 6 years (Junior High and High School), I love this colored pencil wall display.  It uses 500 colored pencils and mounted plastic casings to create not only a work of gradient-inspired wall art, but a totally convenient way to grab your pencils.  I'm sure it’s going to be a blast sharpening all these babies. $50.00

Some Pretty Cool Stuff - Issue No. 001

I always come across some pretty cool stuff I would like to own, but then I forget about it and go on to something else.  Well, what better way to keep track of all the cool things I want to purchase someday than to make a series out of it, right?

How many times have you searched for an extension cord around the house, and when you do it's all tangled up or being used?
This "in the wall" extension cord would be awesome to have.  Now, if they had one that was 100 feet. :-)

Being that I'm constantly in the kitchen cooking up a meal, I desperately want this knife set.  I don't want anything else!
This would go great with all my other stainless steel kitchen accessories!

You know you hate people bothering you so why not take a nap in one of these.
This actually looks kinda comfy, though, I don't think it would go well at work.
I have organized my blogs with 3 days worth of postings, so if you wish to continue reading the days before that, and so forth and so forth, you can click the "Older Posts" button /\ /\ /\ right /\ up there.
