This morning I watched an emotional video by the San Francisco Police Department that would make anyone who has ever been bullied cry, and anyone who has ever been made fun of, proud. It really hit me hard, especially around the time this officer (pictured right), said "I will help you... and I will protect you... and I will listen."
These videos are like books, you get so ingrained with the characters in the story, you start to feel their pain, and before you know it, it feels like you're a part of their lives. Only difference is, these are not characters, they're real life police officers who were bullied themselves. And they're here to tell you, "It Gets Better."
Please watch this. Trust me you will not be disappointed.

The Ever So Dashing Nicholas Jonas
I tell you, this young man is absolutely handsome - pro gay-rights, pro-diabetes awareness, pro-muscle conscience, and pro-Broadway. When Nick Jonas decided to go solo I remember telling Ryan he was the hottest of the Jonas Brothers, and was going places - it turns out I was right. He also reminds me so much of John F. Kennedy Jr.
The youngest of the Jonai posed up a storm on the red carpet of the 2012 Drama League Benefit Gala at the Pierre hotel in New York City. The night, entitled “A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Tony and Emmy Award Winner Kristin Chenoweth,” featured a performance by Nick of “A House Is Not a Home” from Promises, Promises. He later tweeted: “Congratulations @KChenoweth you are a ray of light. I was so honored to be there tonight at the drama league.” - James St. James

The Annoying College Roommate
Everyone's been there - I know I have. You get stuck with the most annoying roommate or suite mate ever! But the ones you really despise are the ones who keep you up all night, or better yet, they keep you up after a night of binge-drinking with your frat buddies. If I roomed with you in college - I'm sorry, but you really pissed me off dammit! Watch the video, and you'll know why I don't feel bad for the guy in the top bunk. LOL.

Valentine's Day Heroes - The Frat Boys at UBC
This was just a cute video I wanted to share. It's the frat boys at the University of British Columbia serenading the girls on Valentine's Day early this week.

Crimes of the Century - No. 11 - The Patty Hearst Kidnapping
THE PATTY HEARST KIDNAPPING, 1974
The kidnapping of Patty Hearst in the 1970s is pretty much the equivalent of someone today kidnapping Rupert Murdoch, Brian Williams or Donald Trump's daughter for ransom. So you can pretty much imagine how big of a story this was back then. - Peter aka Blade7184
It would be nearly a year and a half before she was captured. Despite the defense's strategy of brainwashing, her two-month trial in 1976 led to a seven-year sentence. It was later commuted by then-President Jimmy Carter and she served only 22 months. President Bill Clinton granted her a full pardon on the day he left office. Nowadays, Hearst is a socialite, not a guerrilla, though she appears in a number of director John Waters' subversive, sly and crude comedies.

Her family is a storied one, albeit the kind of stories that involved yellow journalism, character assassination, political manipulation and gossip mongering. Who knew that Patricia Hearst, granddaughter of newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, the inspiration for Orson Well's biting film Citizen Kane, would herself become the central character of one of the biggest news stories of the turbulent 1970s? It was shocking enough on Feb. 4, 1974 when the 19-year-old heiress was kidnapped by a ratty band of Bay Area urban revolutionaries, the Symbionese National Liberation Army, who demanded as ransom that her father feed all the hungry in California. But then, just over two months later, she was seen on camera assisting them in a bank robbery. Soon enough, the kidnap victim had an arrest warrant of her own. TIME Magazine posted this article online several years ago, along with a list of 24 additional notorious crimes that I have been posting and will continue to post every Saturday on my blog. Hope you enjoy.

Are These Women Paranoid?
I don't know if you've ever heard of Jack Vale, but if you haven't he's an online prankster that makes videos of unsuspecting people, whether they're store customers or friends. Over the summer, he got punched in the face by a target customer when he farted in front of his wife. It was a hot mess.
This time, I'm surprise he didn't get his face bashed in. LOL. Then again, I didn't see very many men around these women who were shopping. Jack pretends to be on the phone with someone else, when in fact, he's talking about the customer and says things in relation to what she's looking or purchasing. There was a couple of them I thought were going to beat the crap out of him.
