Quoted: Lady Gaga on her "Born This Way" Ball Stage and Monster Pit
Prologue by Blade 7184... Don't you think it's time we take a breath and focus on other things besides Madonna? Jesus, it's been nothing but Madonna these past few days, Madonna almost slipped, Madonna's face was plastic, Madonna is the queen of pop. We got the point, geez. I grew up in the 80s, and yes she's cool, but lets move on to other news...

Gay and Straight Teens Collaborate in the Making of a Lady Gaga's "Hair" Music Video
I get emotional over things like this, because it hits so close to home. I remember growing up being bullied and tormented by the people I thought were my friends. And here comes a classroom full of straight teens and gay teens showing us that "It Gets Better". Thank you so much kiddos!
As most of us know, growing up isn't easy. Countless young people are faced with daily tormenting and bullying, causing them to feel isolated and alone. This is an especially harsh reality for LGBT kids and teens, who often hide their sexuality for fear of bullying. In many instances, gay and lesbian adolescents are taunted, sometimes even tortured, simply for being themselves.
In support of the It Gets Better Project, Colton James Boettcher's artistic vision takes shape in the form of a music video interpretation of Lady Gaga's song, Hair. Hair is about being yourself, being true to who you are; as the song exemplifies, "you are the spirit of your hair, it's all the glory you bare", YOU are your #hair.

Must Watch: President Obama Singing "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga
What better way is there to start a Wednesday morning than to hear President Barack Obama sing Lady Gaga's "Born This Way"? When I saw this video on my Facebook news feed this morning, I about died laughing. It was funny, but pure genius. Thanks for sharing Josh Helman.

Must Watch: Lady Gaga Got Married on New Year's Eve
Well... she "married the night" on New Year's Rockin' Eve with Dick Clark.
Prior to the ball drop, Lady Gaga started her performance with Heavy Metal Lover in an octopus-looking costume, but later emerged out of that when she performed Marry The Night, and finished off with Born This Way.
Shortly after her performance, Gaga and the Mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg flipped the switch to start the ball drop last Saturday night, and it was pretty darn cool.
Personally, I think there's no better way to end the year than in your own home state and city of New York. Love or hate her, she was fabulous!
Check out her New Year's Eve performance below:

Blade 7184's 2011 Top 20 +1
It literally took me all day to put this together. But I've listed the Top 20 songs of 2011 I felt were the most popular, most emotional, most danced to, most listened to, and overall, most loved. The "Plus One" is due to the fact, that I had to single out the artist whom I felt brought the world to it's knees. The power in her voice not only made people cry, but it made them see things in their own relationships with God or their partners they never thought was possible. Across the seas and across our land, she moved us in a way we could feel the hair on our arms rise as she bellowed each and every lyric. Adele, you pwned this year's Top 20. You are my blog's most distinguished Plus One!
20. Set Fire To The Rain by Adele
19. Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera

Madonna's Diva Christmas Nightmare
Back in July, we learned of Madonna's Gaga Nightmare, in August we learned of her second, but in December, Perez Hilton attends the Annual Divas Holiday Ball with "some of the biggest egos on the planet."
And this time around, there's more than just Cher, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Barbara Streisand, and Sue Sylvester attending this ball; Katy Perry, Niki Minaj, Dolly Parton, and many others make a special appearance.

Blade's Box of Jams: Track #10 - You and I
Currently listening to...
Lady Gaga & Sugarland
If you missed the Grammy Nominations Ceremony on CBS, you missed the performance by Lady Gaga and Sugarland singing Gaga's hit track, "You and I," and I'd have to say it was damn good! I have added it to my collection, Blade's Box of Jams.
For those who didn't watch the show, on February 12, 2012, Gaga will be up against Rihanna, Bruno Mars, The Foo Fighters, and Adele for Album of the Year. As for my prediction, Adele will take them all home. She is up for 6 Grammy nominations and it's expected she will win them all. If there is anyone up against Gaga for the prestigious categories of record, album, and song of the year, it's Adele. She's undeniably an amazing artist.
Now, let's listen to Blade's Box of Jams: Track #10 - You and I, featuring Lady Gaga and Sugarland!

'Twas Marry The Night
Yes, Little Monsters, Lady Gaga will be debuting her "Marry The Night" music video this coming Thursday on E! She states that the video will be about “one of the most horrible days of my life when I got dropped from my first record label and it’s the story of what happened that day.”
This will be the first time she has ever directed a video entirely on her own, so big kudos to her. But she's also given you a special treat. Not only did she release a teaser on Thanksgiving night, she also released another short teaser to tie you over till then.
During a trip to India, Gaga opened up a bit about shooting the clip and being a first-time director. "It has been a wonderful experience. I worked alongside director of photography Darius Khondji, who is an absolutely amazing DP, and I worked with Gideon Ponte, who is an incredible art director," she explained. "So I'm looking forward to sharing this autobiographical video with the world. I'm very excited. It's my favorite song on the album."

Gaga The Fashionista! - The Sperm Hat
Oh Gaga. According to TMZ, Lady Gaga emerged from a London hotel on Wednesday wearing what appeared to be a hot pink sperm hat on her head. What will she think of next? With all due respect, she probably doesn't come up with these ridiculous outfits, she just promotes them. :-)
I'll let the Gaga fans correct me.

What a Hot Mess: Have Yourself A Very Merry Biebmas
Seriously? It's October. OCTOBER!!!!! WHAT A HOT MESS!
Justin Bieber has released his first Christmas single, "Under The Mistletoe", and with all the flak they give Lady Gaga, this song sounds eerily familiar to other tracks I've heard before.
But guess what? You're going to hear this song over the holidays over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and... do I need to go any further? Might as well start listening to it now.
7 million views on YouTube and it's only been out 3-1/2 days. Jesus Christ! Sorry Jesus, It's the Biebs, he's in charge now - everyone idolizes this kid.

Madonna vs. Lady Gaga: The Many, Many Phases of Two Self-Defined Pop Sensations
Madonna and Lady Gaga: two shameless pop stars willing to try anything, no matter how abominable or shocking, to secure a seat at the top of the charts (and tabloids). Some say that Lady Gaga is merely a Madonna clone, while others sing her praises as a fashionista and a perfect example of a woman who refuses to be defined by anyone but herself. Whichever way you look at it, Madonna and Lady Gaga have gone through more phases and costume changes than most of us have had hot dinners. We revisit some of the most memorable.

Gaga The Fashionista! - Fabulous or Not So Fabulous?
Is it me, or has Lady Gaga been off her game lately? Don't get me wrong, she looked fabulous at the iHeart Radio Music Festival, but I guess I'm so used to seeing her dress strangely, that I never really thought of her as a real "Lady." LOL.
I'm just kidding Gaga fans, take it easy. Don't hate!

A Very Special Guest Indeed
One of the things that really perturbs me is the fact that there are those who have nothing better to say, but to degrade a talented artist. So many times I hear about how Gaga was copying another artist, and frankly it has gotten downright ridiculous. These type of people never change, they were instilled with hatred and being a bully all their lives - the very things Gaga is so against.
Without further adieu, here you have a princess being classy to a lady despite all the hateful comments and rumors about Britney Spears and Gaga hating each other.
During a recent concert in Atlantic City, Britney tells her fans, "I have a very special guest here tonight... Lady Gaga is here!" She then blows a kiss in the direction where Lady Gaga was sitting.
According to The Sun, “They sat for around an hour gossiping and talking about collaborating together on a track. GaGa already has two songs in mind.”
I hope you're looking forward to the VMAs, because the Lady will be on stage with Britney. Woop, Woop!
