Subway vs. Hawaii Five-0 [video]

Okay, there's product placement, then there's product placement.  We all know that musician's use them in their music videos, and your favorite television series do this crazy shit too.  But they're usually subtle about it - you don't usually see an entire minute worth of it.  

Hawaii Five-0 recently had an episode on CBS that went a little overboard. I thought it was absolutely hilarious, and cheesy as hell.  Check out the video.

The only thing left he had to say was where he got the sandwiches. LOL.

Lady Gaga & Sugarland

If you missed the Grammy Nominations Ceremony on CBS, you missed the performance by Lady Gaga and Sugarland singing Gaga's hit track, "You and I," and I'd have to say it was damn good!  I have added it to my collection, Blade's Box of Jams.

For those who didn't watch the show, on February 12, 2012, Gaga will be up against Rihanna, Bruno Mars, The Foo Fighters, and Adele for Album of the Year.  As for my prediction, Adele will take them all home.  She is up for 6 Grammy nominations and it's expected she will win them all.  If there is anyone up against Gaga for the prestigious categories of record, album, and song of the year, it's Adele.  She's undeniably an amazing artist.

How Many Times Was Princess Diana Mentioned?

I have witnessed the marriages of two Princesses to their Princes in my lifetime, and can quite honestly say, Princess Diana was on my mind during the ceremony of Kate and William.  

How could she not be?  Here was the son of the late Princess getting married.  

While alive, Diana was followed around the world on a daily basis, she was the world's Princess.  And from her wedding to Prince Charles, rumored affairs, a bitter divorce, and untimely death, people were, and still are fascinated by her. 

Jezebel had a very interesting article yesterday; They pointed out how the media, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, and E! News, each had the late Princess on their minds during the ceremony, whereas BBC America didn't (or couldn't) bring themselves to mention Diana's name once.  

I find this rather bizarre, considering it's an affiliate of BBC in Britain.  Regardless of their omission, It was nice seeing Kate marry William and thanks to our networks who covered, Will's mother, the late Princess of Wales, it will be another memory I can cherish forever.

What Is My Dad To Do Without His Two and a Half Men?

What is my dad going to do without his all-time favorite show?  I guess he'll have to sit around and mope.  He's very picky about the shows he watches and doesn't care much for the shows my mother enjoys.

On Thursday, Charlie Sheen, the star of CBS' comedy show "Two and a Half Men" gave a ridiculous interview with a conservative radio host in the Bahamas.  In less than 20 mintues, he not only managed to insult the creator of the show, but talked about his recent porn star hook-ups, calling them godesses and curing his alcoholism "with his mind."

"I violently hate Chaim Levine (Chuck Lorre). He's a stupid, stupid little man and a pussy punk that I'd never want to be like."

The interview was so insane (actually he's fucking insane, pardon my French) that CBS announced yesterday they were shutting down Two and a Half Men for the rest of the season "based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition."

Listen to the interview everyone's talking about down below, but let it be known, I could care less what happens to this idiot.  As for the 200 or so people who work on the show who aren't high-paid writers or actors, they are the ones truly caught in the crossfire between Sheen, CBS and Warner Bros.

Truth is... Justin Bieber has been appearing in several episodes of CSI and has been playing a petty criminal.  Well, maybe not so petty, but after killing and shooting several officers what do you expect?  The CSI officers return fire by filling his body full of lead.  Sorry haters, the Biebs still lives on in real life.
