Okay, let me hear it - I was right. It was the damn stupid bird that died in the episode of Glee tonight. Ugh. couldn't it have been Kurt?
I have no earthly idea, but I could have sworn our friend Guillermo wrote the script for tonight's episode, or at least the last five minutes of the show when the Judges are about to vote on a new champion. I spent a good deal of time pausing our DVR just to get at this wonderful script. Thanks Guillermo :-)
Of course, as I mentioned earlier, Kathy Griffin portrays a Twitterer and former Tea Party Candidate as Tammy Jean Albertson, Loretta Devine portrays a Nun and former exotic dancer as Sister Mary Constance and finally the return of the local celebrity, Rod Remington, a Gadabout.
I must say, I really love Loretta Devine, she was downright hilarious.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Until the video surfaces on You Tube, here is the funny script...
Tammy Jean Albertson - Before we start, I would like to say, "I am not a witch." But, um, i think it's fair to ask, do we have written proof that these kids were born in the United States of America?
Sister Mary Constance - For a Nun, I'm pretty liberal... but I'm barely a Nun. In fact I just joined because I needed a place to live.
Tammy Jean Albertson - Bless you.
Sister Mary Constance - The convent is the one place I knew I could stay off the pole. But my question is this... That Dalton Academy is it a gay school, or is it just a school that appears gay?
Rod Remington walks into the room and chimes in with some nonsense about his hairdresser and the hairdresser's boyfriend who's also a hairdresser. LOL He feels that "the gays" should be allowed to marry, and Sister Mary Constance continues...
Sister Mary Constance - I like the duet the boys from Dalton sang.
Tammy Jean Albertson - Oh boys, shouldn't do a duet; The last thing we need to do is send a message to children, that "gay is okay." It is not a legitimate lifestyle, and last time I checked it's not in the constitutition.
Rod Remington - What about that song about Jesus?
Tammy Jean Albertson - Well that should win.
Sister Mary Constance - uh, uh, uh, no, no, no, that is just cheap pandering, I didn't even like to be pandered to when I was a stripper.
Rod Remington - Those New Directions had it going on. Those songs were fresh.
Tammy Jean Albertson - Those songs were terrible I am sorry, But I'm a politician and when I lost my last election, and there will be a recount, I didn't go around singing about being a loser I twittered that Obama is a Terrorist.
Sister Mary Constance - Oh no, you didn't.
Tammy Jean Albertson - I had to it's a fact.

Are You Excited For The Season Finale of V!
If all goes according to executive producer Scott Rosenbaum’s plan, tonight’s V season finale will be a hugely dramatically satisfying hour — and will still leave viewers wanting more. And wanting more is what Ryan and I want. I watched the original "TV mini-series" when it first aired back in the 1980's, and I will proudly say it was a really great show. Ryan and I watched it on DVD before we started watching the new series early last year.
According to Entertainment Weekly magazine, Rosenbaum was told to cut back his episode line to 10 instead of the 22 he had hoped for. His first thought was, "What the hell do I do?" The result was Mother's Day (episode title), which will feature several character deaths and a guest appearance by Marc Singer, who was a freedom fighter from the original series.
Rosenbaum also states that he has made the season finale a satisfying conclusion should ABC choose not to proceed with a 3rd season, but he feels the "best of the show is ahead of itself."
Personally, being that he's relying on hope to get him through tonight's show can only mean one thing... it's going to be really good and we are going to be dying for Season 3, but in the event that the show isn't picked up, he did his best to offer a final closure. Let's pray this is not the case, because I love these damn visitors! I want them massacred, just not this season. Diana is coming back for God's sakes!
Here's a sneak to make your mouth water...

Kathy Griffin, New Directions, The Beatles, Pink, and a Nun - What More Could You Want From Glee?
I don't even know where to begin. Santana vs. Brittany, Kathy Griffin vs. Sarah Palin, New Directions vs. Warblers, and who the hell is going to die? These are all the questions I'm having issues with.
Last week we saw Santana confess her love for Brittany, but Brittany wasn't going to have any of it, because she can't drop Artie at the drop of a hat. She did manage to tell her that she would be the next choice if they so happened to break up.
Tonight we have Kathy Griffin acting like Sarah Palin as a member of the Tea Party and Loretta Devine as a nun, which can only mean one thing - there's an appeal to our friends on the right by casting these two. And who better to show their true colors than Sue Sylvester and her Aural Intensity by singing, "Jesus Is My Friend." Clearly someone will be playing to them.
In addition to that song, the Warblers will be singing "Blackbird" by The Beatles (Kurt)
"Candles" by Hey Monday (Kurt and Blaine), "Misery" by Maroon 5 (Blaine), and "Raise Your Glass" by Pink (The Warblers). And while New Directions may only have 3 songs up their sleeve tonight, they're all original, with 2 of them released already, "Loser Like Me" and "Get It Right." Both of those songs rely heavily on Rachel Barry. The third song will be all about Mercedes, "Hell to the No."
And what of the death of the century? Did everyone seem to forget about that? It seems like it vanished from thin air and no one is talking about it any longer. My thought is, we could either be taken by surprise or it was simply thrown out. Either way, we will find out tonight on Fox at 8/7 central. Don't Miss It!

Tech News 101: iPad2
Thinner, Lighter, Faster, I don't care what everybody tells me. The iPad2 is phenomenal. So phenomenal that it is believed to be sold out at all locations, including retail stores and partners. Don't get me wrong, I love my iPad "One," but I really, really want the iPad2. The second generation tablet became an instant hit over the weekend, selling over 1 million of them. In comparison to last year's launch of the first generation iPad, which sold 1 million in a month, this is quite a huge deal. This is what you call "huge" revenues for the Apple crime family. LOL, just kidding.
I just wonder how many folks are kicking themselves in the ass for buying the iPad "One" over the holidays and not waiting 3 months for the new and improved version.

Movies to Watch: Super 8
A few days ago, a full-length trailer to the movie, "Super 8" was released. I don't know if I've been sold on this movie yet. I felt the same way about another J.J. Abrams movie, "Cloverfield." Ryan and I didn't even go to the theatres to watch it, we just waited for it's release on Blu-ray/DVD. Check out the trailer below for yourselves.
I like that the movie has a late 50's, early 60's feel to it - a great element of the film. My main concern is that Steven Spielberg is connected to this film; I sure would hate for the movie to ruin his reputation. The trailer has done it's job - it has peaked my curiosity a tiny bit.

Katy Perry's "Firework" as You've Never Seen or Heard It Before!
You may remember him from 2010 when he was a guest on the shows, Today and Ellen, or you may have heard of him when his videos went viral in the Fall. He made covers of Katy Perry's, "Teenage Dream" and Bruno Mars, "Just They Way You Are."
Well, the very hot Mike Tompkins is back and the cutie dishes out a cover of Katy Perry's "Firework" as you've never seen or heard it before. I truly enjoyed watched this video, he's truly an amazing artist. When someone can create music with their voice alone, they are truly a musical genius.
