A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words - Issue No. 10
This is pretty cool. And if you're a Texan you'll definitely want to share this. A gentleman by the name of Nathan Hoang used to live in Texas for 25 years. He started to get a little homesick so he took on a project he hopes to continue for the 50+1 states.

It's been 3 months since I posted an issue of "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words", so for those who haven't seen my previous issues I started this series as a way to introduce my readers to the world
of art through words. And by words, I mean where the artist has taken
several hundred pieces of text and created a masterpiece; it could be a
self-portrait, landscape or still-life. It's called Typographical Art,
much like a typographical quote you see posted on a Facebook news feed
from time to time. But with hundreds, if not thousands of words instead
of just a few.

Game of Thrones' George R. R. Martin Reacts to Fans viewing The Red Wedding
So as you know, earlier in the week I posted a recap of Sundays night's episode of Game of Thrones. A couple of days later a video of fans reacting to this episode surfaced online; I didn't blog about it.
But...
Conan O'Brien had the infamous author, George R. R. Martin as a guest on his show and showed him the video. Check it out.

Get Your 2013 Orthodox Calendar Today!
I'm sure this is something you didn't expect to see so early in the morning; Orthodox Priests in a calendar spread. Yeah, it's true. I was reading about it over at WOW and apparently these priests thought it would be best "to strike a pose and openly stand for who they are underneath the priest’s
clothing they wear: Regular people with passions, preferences, interests
and desires."
And before all of you straight people go crazy, shouting blasphemous words, because you're "Christian", these priests are more than likely not gay. They did this in support of gay rights. "All are open-minded and believe that besides their passionate devotion to the Orthodox Church, it is important to be perceived as individuals committed to diversity and acceptance." Yes, it's a little odd to do a homoerotic spread, but hey we'll take what we can get, right? And we support our Advocates. :-)
