“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

Obama Takes Over The Colbert Report

Last night, President Obama kicked Stephen Colbert off his chair just as he was about to give his segment of "The Word".  It was pretty fun to watch.

He joked about himself, Republicans and of course, Fox News.  Check it out.

Raised by a Mexican Mom? Then This is For You!

It's been forever since I posted a blog, so here it goes.

Javier Moreno over at Buzzfeed listed 28 things people who were raised by a Mexican mom know to be true,  And I'd have to say he's on point with some of these.

We were not catholic so the candles didn't exist, and the quinceaƱera? Not so much.  Lol.  But trust me, I have family who represent this entire list and you know who you are!  LMAO.

Thank you sharing Michele!

1. She believed VapoRub (or Vick's) was a cure for everything.

2. Along with Sprite.

3. If you scraped your knee, you could always expect the “Sana, sana” rhyme.

You would feel the wrath of the dreaded chancla.

There was no way you were leaving the house without finishing your chores.

Whenever she watched novelas you were given a play by play.

Check out the entire list here. And if you haven't seen "The Secret of the Chancla" you can't catch that here. Hilarious!

Improv Everywhere: The 1860s Bar

If you've never heard of Improv Everywhere, you're missing out on some pretty chaotic stuff.  They're actually pretty fun to watch, and the stuff they come up with are pretty hilarious.  One of the last videos I posted from them was "Meet a Black Person", where they put up a stand in Aspen, Colorado with an opportunity to meet a black person.  Keep in mind, Aspen's white population is 90%.  The reactions by several passer-by were hilarious.

Yesterday, the Improv crew posted a video online titled, The 1860's Bar, where they completely transformed a local bar in Brooklyn, New York to match the era.  They literally turned the clock back 150 years and invited a couple friends who had no idea what they were walking into. LOL.

"Where are you from? Your English is perfect."  LOL.

Yes, there are people like this.

A jogger runs into a fellow jogger and he obviously seems a little more interested in her heritage than his own jogging.  The following video has been viewed nearly 5 million times as of May 23, and was part of YouTube's comedy week.  Check it out.

I Haven't Been Fully Honest With You... (NSFW due to some upset texters)

Last month, comedian Nathan Fielder from Comedy Central asked his twitter followers to text their parents about a fake drug deal, and the outcome was absolutely hilarious!

This time, he asked his followers to text their loved ones, "I haven't been fully honest with you," and not reply for at least an hour.  I'm pretty sure some of them wished they hadn't done it. LOL.
The hilarity continues after the jump...

Laugh of the Day: Game of Desks

This is for Game of Thrones fans only.  Well, I suppose anyone can watch it, but I doubt you'll get any of the quirky references.

Last week, Jimmy Fallon teased his followers with sneak peeks of his parody to Game of Thrones, "Game of Desks" before releasing it on Friday.  It was quite humorous - you will not be disappointed.

Plus... don't miss the cameos by Seth Meyers and Jay Leno.
