As if you needed any further proof that the boys from One Direction have a thing for their bandmate, Louis Tomlinson, the cutest one from the group. LOL. These 9 moveable gif pics goes to show how popular the gayest group in 30 years have become.
Hmmm. Who knows? I might actually watch it. I found the idea of remaking such a great classic rather repulsive, but after watching the trailer to The Great Gatsby, I may find myself liking it. It is a Baz Lurhmann movie after all. The movie doesn't come out till Christmas, but the trailer should satisfy your craving for now. Maybe Leonardo DiCaprio will win his damn Oscar for once.
From IMDB: Nick Carraway, a Midwesterner now living on Long Island, finds himself
fascinated by the mysterious past and lavish lifestyle of his neighbor,
Jay Gatsby. He is drawn into Gatsby's circle, becoming a witness to
obsession and tragedy.
“I have no problem with it, and it was the Congress that imposed Don’t
Ask, Don’t Tell, though it was certainly my position and my
recommen-dation to get us out of an even worse outcome that could have
occurred, as you’ll recall. But as I’ve thought about gay marriage, I
know a lot of friends who are individually gay but are in partnerships
with loved ones, and they are as stable a family as my family is, and
they raise children. And so I don’t see any reason not to say that they
should be able to get married.” – former Secretary of State Colin Powellendorsing gay marriage during an interview today with Wolf Blitzer on The Situation Room. (via The Daily What)
It's always been an ongoing war. The Cat person vs. The Dog person, but who's truly the winner? Check out this cute Cat People vs. Dog People chart to find out if your less traditional or less neurotic, more creative or a little more outgoing.
I found this book cover rather ironic. I read the book when I was younger. "Rainbow Boys" is about the struggles of three gay teens, a Jock, a nerd (goth) boy, and the good all-American boy next door. It's actually a really good book. The book was followed by "Rainbow High" and "Rainbow Road" respectfully. I have all three books. :-). The two subsequent books follow the same characters moving on from graduation to post-graduation.
But onto why I found the cover to "Rainbow Boys" ironic...
The Jock standing behind the other two boys is Matt Bomer. You know - the actor who recently came out of the closet. You probably recognize him from the hit television series, "Chuck" or the upcoming movie, "Magic Mike".
Who knew that Matt would be on the cover of a gay book while being out of the closet, before he was in the closet, before coming out of the closet. LOL.
