Movies to Watch - The Great Gatsby
Hmmm. Who knows? I might actually watch it. I found the idea of remaking such a great classic rather repulsive, but after watching the trailer to The Great Gatsby, I may find myself liking it. It is a Baz Lurhmann movie after all. The movie doesn't come out till Christmas, but the trailer should satisfy your craving for now. Maybe Leonardo DiCaprio will win his damn Oscar for once.

Movies to Watch - Maybe: The Lucky One
What the hell am I talking about? I know that Ryan and I will watch this sappy ass movie.
There's pros and cons to watching this movie like knowing that it stars the lovely Zac Efron, whose managed to bulk up and look manly for the movie, but unfortunately for him, still acts like Troy Bolton from High School Musical.
Second, the boy is trying too hard to emulate Leonardo DiCaprio and we all know how that ended up this week for the A+ movie star - another year with no Oscar nomination.
And third if your like us, and cried during the movies "The Notebook" and "Dear John", you're going to absolutely love this one.
The "Lucky One" which also stars Taylor Schilling and Blythe Danner is about a Marine who travels to North Carolina after serving three tours in Iraq and searches for the unknown woman he believes was his good luck charm during the war.

Meet Your New Romeo & Juliet
So the last time a Romeo & Juliet movie was released there was a horrible tragedy at the end... Oh wait. THERE STILL IS! Ugh, I hate movies, where I already know the outcome.
Well, at least we have two gorgeous new actors besides Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes reprising their roles; Not that they could, they're dead! LOL.

Yes, this is your Juliet, the girl from "Kick-Ass," Chloe Moretz. I know, she's all grown up. How do these kids grow up so fast? Geez. |

Quoted - Clint Eastwood & Leonardo DiCaprio on Gay Marriage
Leonardo DiCaprio and Clint Eastwood's conversation with GQ Magazine on their upcoming movie about J. Edgar Hoover turned onto the subject of Gay Marriage...
Clint Eastwood: “These people who are making a big deal about gay marriage? I don’t give a fuck about who wants to get married to anybody else! Why not?! We’re making a big deal out of things we shouldn’t be making a deal out of … Just give everybody the chance to have the life they want.”
Leonardo DiCaprio: “That’s the most infuriating thing – watching people focus on these things. Meanwhile, there’s the onset of global warming and these incredibly scary and menacing things with the future of our economy.”

A Horrible Un-necessary Death = Sadness
On April 5, 2011, Knut would have been 4 years and 4 months, instead he will never reach his Polar Bear life expectancy of 30. At the Berlin Zoo on Saturday, 600 onlookers watched in agony, as poor Knut fell into the water and DIED!
No one seems to have an explanation as to why he passed as such an early age, “He was by himself in his compound,” says bear keeper Heiner Kls. “He was in the water, and then he was dead.”
This is sad news indeed.
I was out gardening all day Saturday and Sunday, that I didn't have the chance to catch up on my blogging, and missed the opportunity to talk about this horrible news! I knew of Knut, because of the outrageous news, which broke back in 2006; Without reason, his mother had rejected him and his twin (who died 4 days later). He became an instant world sensation, with posters, t-shirts, mugs, and games bearing his likeness. Even Leonardo DiCaprio posed with him, in Vanity Fair's 2nd annual "Green Issue."
People who never took a look at the Polar bear as an endangered species, are now having second thoughts, because of Knut. He was truly loved, but poor little guy, he will surely be missed.
