“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

Back In The Day - The 90's vs. Today

These pictures are hilarious, because they're so true.  I especially love how Blockbuster went from a mega superstore (overtaking every mom and pop shop video store), to becoming almost obsolete.  When was the last time you rented a video? LOL.

The Ever So Dashing Nicholas Jonas

I tell you, this young man is absolutely handsome - pro gay-rights, pro-diabetes awareness, pro-muscle conscience, and pro-Broadway.  When Nick Jonas decided to go solo I remember telling Ryan he was the hottest of the Jonas Brothers, and was going places - it turns out I was right.  He also reminds me so much of John F. Kennedy Jr.
The youngest of the Jonai posed up a storm on the red carpet of the 2012 Drama League Benefit Gala at the Pierre hotel in New York City. The night, entitled “A Musical Celebration of Broadway Honoring Tony and Emmy Award Winner Kristin Chenoweth,” featured a performance by Nick of “A House Is Not a Home” from Promises, Promises. He later tweeted: “Congratulations @KChenoweth you are a ray of light. I was so honored to be there tonight at the drama league.” - James St. James

Quoted - Nick Jonas on What Gay Meant, His Preacher Father, and Gay Marriage

"I don’t think that conversation needed to be had. I was totally aware, I understood what it meant, and I was totally fine with it. It didn’t confuse me, because I knew it was all about love. I was raised in a really open home where the policy was love.

My upbringing was faith-based, but we believed you should love all others as you want to be loved, because everyone should be treated equally. That’s helped me have an understanding of people on different journeys and in different walks of life. At the end of the day, we’re all the same, because we all want to be loved. As long as love as the key, we’re in good shape.

My friends are my friends, and people that I’m acquainted with don’t necessarily share the same opinions as I do, and that’s how I’ll put that. My thoughts on gay marriage are that everyone has the right to love and be loved, and that’s the position I take."

- Nick Jonas in an interview with The Advocate on whether he knew what "gay" meant, what it was like growing up in a Christian home, and his thoughts on gay marriage.
