“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

The Walking Dead/Toy Story Conspiracy

Remember the Zombie Story I posted last month?  Well, here's further proof that The Walking Dead has more in common with the Toy Story franchise than you might have thought.  This will finally put all those conspiracy theories to rest.
The Walking Dead meets Toy Story in this re-imagining of the opening sequence to the popular AMC television series.

Must Watch: Cargo

I don't even know where to begin with this.  As all of you know I'm a fan of short film, and if this film were up for an Oscar it would definitely take one home.

The movie, Cargo may be a little too emotional for some of you, or it may help you re-evaluate your life and how you treat the ones you love a little differently.

While there are many shows and movies introducing us the Zombie world, aka The Walking Dead, Evil Dead, and World War ZThis 7 minute flim packs a punch greater than what The Walking Dead could have given us in three seasons put together.

Take a look at what this father does to protect his beautiful baby girl from the Zombie apocalypse.  He's been bitten, so he has very little time.

Lori is Alive - She Has To Be!

So aside from me, everyone, including Ryan seems to think that Lori is dead in the popular TV show, The Walking Dead.  It's been over a year since I pleaded with everyone to watch this series.  If you've never seen it - well - there's not much else I can say.

Here are the reasons I think Lori is Not Dead, or a Zombie.  She's still out there somewhere!

Little Carl, bless his heart, would never shoot his own mother.  I'm sorry, but as tough as he thinks he is, he doesn't have the cojones to shoot his mother's brains out.  Then there's the bloated zombie, really?  Talk about bad television.  When have you seen a bloated zombie?

When Rick finds the body, all he finds is hair in the zombie's mouth.  He also finds a bullet, but it's clean - there's no blood on it.  Furthermore when Rick shoots and stabs the zombie, there are no body parts pulled out of it's stomach.  No bones anywhere! That's kinda strange to me.

And if you're one to follow the comic books, Hershel, Carl and Glenn are all dead in those books - this also leaves me to wonder whether Lori will return as a Zombie or is Alive!

Movies to Watch - Maybe? "Warm Bodies"

So would you see it? That is the question.  Honestly, it's been about Wizards and Vampires for who knows how many years now.  We have nothing but sparkly vampires (Twilight), vampires falling in love with humans (Twilight, Vampire Diaries, True Blood), Wolves, Witches, and Fairies.  When will this phenomenon stop?  Oh.  I know.

Next August, when they have Zombies taking over our hearts in the movie, "Warm Bodies".  No, Really.  Nicholas Hoult (Skins, X-men: First Class) will star alongside "I Am Number Four" co-star Teresa Palmer.

AMC already has us feeling bad for "The Walking Dead," and now we have Zombies falling in love, and talking?!?!  Really?  Zombies don't need talk, they're dead!  All they crave are brains, not love!  I don't know, the story sounds kinda interesting, but I don't know. I'm still in that, "maybe" stage.

What do you think?  Will you be watching this movie?  The movie will also star Rob Corddry, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, and the very yummy Dave Franco.

For a synopsis of the movie, read after the jump...

Glove and Boots: Zombie University

My favorite little puppets, Glove and Boots are back, and this time they're taking on Zombies!  Back in July they gave us the ten reasons why they hated facebook, and it was downright hilarious.  But since zombies are now ruling television, movie screens, children's books, and almost every form of media, they attended...

Remember these 3 fundamentals... and on judgement day, you'll be o..k...  lol.
1.  If Zombie bites you...you become zombie...
2.  Zombie will never stop trying to bite you, and
3.  If Zombie tries to bite you.  Smash his brains!

Must Watch: The Walking Dead

If none of you have ever seen The Walking Dead, then I'm going to repeat what I said back on August 7, and revise what I said, "If it's two things we all should watch in life, it's it's Dexter and Spartacus," and change it to "three things we should watch in life..."

I have never sat through one episode of a show, and said "fuck it, let's watch the whole season."  Until early this year when my partner, Ryan had me sit down to watch the first episode of AMC's "The Walking Dead."

Let me say this much... the graphics, the storyline and all the actors on this show are phenomenal.  It's not your zombie movie of yesteryear, it's so much better and so much more.  I promise you, the moment you see the first episode you will be hooked.  A lot of emotion went into the making of this television series, and all I can ask, is that you watch the trailer below.  Its for the first season, which consisted of 6 episodes.  You will not regret it.

For all The Walking Dead fans, I'm sure you already know the second season premieres next Sunday, October 16th.  But what you might not know, was that six, 2-1/2 minute webisodes were released on AMC over the summer.  If you want to find out what happened to the bicycle girl from the show's pilot, and are interested in seeing what happened to the rest of the world during the outbreak, I have posted all 6 webisodes after the jump... check them out.

Isn't This The Truth? Zombie vs. Baby

Hmmm, I never thought of it this way, but it actually makes sense.  Zombies have the same characteristics as babies.  The Messy eater, no sense of right and wrong, bent on destruction, keeps you awake at night in fear, and can turn others into a zombie. Isn't this the truth?  LOL.  My sister will be finding this out soon enough.

I'm Just A Zombie Standing in Front of a Zombie Asking it to Love Me! - Meredith Woerner

In what is so reminiscent of The Walking Dead from TNT, this live-action CGI short film is from the Media Design School's Graduate Diploma of Advanced 3D Productions in New Zealand. The short, titled "Rotting Hill," was produced in 12 weeks and features 22 digital effects shots.  I must warn you, if you have an easy stomach don't watch it.  The effects are so darn good, it's almost real.  I was watching this covering my mouth at times.

Something tells me my boyfriend, Ryan will love it.
