Quoted: David Furnish on Madonna Receiving a Golden Globe
“I think it was a fluke. When this happens you have to question the integrity of the awards. Did Madonna get the Golden Globe because she attended the awards and agreed be a presenter? Can you sing Madonna’s song? Can you hum it? It’s a song nobody has heard, from a film few have seen. The award should have gone to Mary J. Blige or Elton. I like Madonna’s music, but not her movies. She should stick to what she is good at.”

I absolutely disagree with him. I've not seen W.E film because it's not been release here in Spain where I live, but I've listened the song through youtube and it actually is "a masterpiece". Sure that Elton's one is great but Madonna's is just better. Well done for her!
I just listened to both songs. Both deserved to be nominated, but I like Elton's better. It's more upbeat, uplifting and makes me feel happier. Madonna's is a little too slow and kind of depressing, but I saw the movie trailer for it and it actually looks kind of good. I wouldn't mind seeing it with my love. Oh, and "Hello, Hello" is a duet with Lady Gaga but that did not bias my decision. You should put the songs up for a vote and let your viewers decide, my love. Then everyone can get to experience both of these good songs that kinda went under the radar.
I'm sorry my love, but I'm going to have to go with Spanish Guy. I really didn't like Elton's song. Madonna's was a lot better.
I'm sorry, I know you're all pro gay rights and a crazy Gaga fan, but the song didn't sit well with me. I heard it twice this morning. I did like the star wars commercial :-)
