I watch and listen to the words this honorable Republican had to say, because yes, there are honorable ones believe it or not, and it brings me to tears each and every time. Maureen Walsh was married to the same man for 23 years and she loved him more than anything, but it was what she said to her fellow Republicans and Democrats about her life, that makes this unmistakably the "video of the year" so far.
It's taken me a while to blog about this, because my life with Ryan is so damn important to me. My life, not yours. I mean, what is it going to take for you zealots to realize that Jesus, The Father, and The Holy Spirit will "judge" you for the hateful, judgmental and condemning group of people that's ever existed on this planet? Please watch this, and convince me you can be a Republican with a heart and a conscience.
Before I continue with my blogs I did want to mention an important achievement that occurred yesterday. In a move that has Washington Republicans and conservative bible thumpers screaming their lungs out - marriage for the gays was passed in the state!
In a vote of 28 to 21 the Senate passed a marriage equality bill where it is expected to easily pass through the House. Once that is done, Governor Christine Gregoire will sign the bill into law!!! And for those who are unaware, she's actually the one who introduced the bill. And for that we're thankful!
We love you Christine - the gays love you!

Damn, I almost feel bad for all the straight men and boys, because if you've done such a horrendous thing, you're gay. And parents, you better keep a watchful eye on your son's extracurricular activities, you don't want them turning out like you. GAY!
Seriously speaking though... I'm a Christian and believe in God, but what drives people of faith to listen to this mess? And to believe it nonetheless.
Looking like a video made from National Geographic, and set to music that provides much suspense, Tyler Bradt calls his mom and tells her that he hopes he can make it to dinner on the day he chose to take a plunge down a waterfall.
And it's not just any waterfall, it's the Palouse Falls in Washington, which is 186 feet high.
And why did Tyler take such a risk? He wanted to break a world record kayaking off a waterfall. Seriously? Are people really this stupid?
