“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

Jesus Is My Virtue, Judas Is The Demon I Cling To

This morning I reminded you about Lady Gaga's new video, Judas, premiering tonight on E!.   Well the video leaked right before I was going to lunch, and it was not intended to happen this way.  In fact, the video is being removed from the internet just as fast as I type this post.

I have posted the video below, but don't know how long  it will stay active before I get caught - enjoy it while you can.  I absolutely love it!

UPDATE:
Unable to control the outcry and hunger for Gaga, they made her release the video before it's anticipated release tonight on E!. She has now posted the video on her You Tube Page.

The creativity and beauty that went into making this video are, for a lack of better words, simply astounding. As much as it already deserves best video of the year, with it's controversial portrayal of religion, I have no clue how much it will succeed compared to her other work. I usually at this point take significant time to break down the video so all, especially the most vocal of haters, can see what she's truly trying to communicate. Unfortunately due to lack of time and an upcoming state exam, I cannot as of now, analyze the Judas video, as much as I'm dying to spend an entire day doing so. Instead I will leave with saying this: Though Gaga's need to push the envelope has been done by all ground breaking artists before, her work as an artist is unique and original. Other artists have adored their fans and fought for many activist causes, but Gaga successfully takes it to another level where other stars have never before. For this as well as her musical, visual and aesthetic taste and talent, she will be the next Madonna, Elvis and/or Michael Jackson. That is if she hasn't met those goals and challenges already in her career which is, of course, entirely up to us, her fans. Love her or hate her, you have to agree, she is a force of our generation that must be reckoned with and can never be forgotten. She is a Fame Monster. She is Born This Way. She is Lady Gaga.
