“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

The Human Test - Volumes 2 & 3

Ever since I posted the first volume to The Human Test, two more have been released.  The first two videos, produced by vlogger, ZeFrank, are quite hilarious and true, but the third is a little somber.

The second volume is titled "Volume 2,  Difficulty: Easy", while the third is titled, "Volume 3: Love & Loss, Difficulty: Medium".

I answered yes to most questions so I suppose this makes me human... Check them out, they're pretty cool.  Are you human?

This Is Water by David Foster Wallace

This video is 9 minutes long, but truly inspirational. If you have some time, I highly recommend watching it.  Bookmark it for another day, share it on Facebook, Pin it, Skype it, do whatever you wish with it, but make sure to watch it sometime in your life.  It doesn't matter if you're in college, high school or an alumni - this video is for everyone.

Author David Foster Wallace was asked to give the commencement address to the 2005 graduating class of Kenyon College. However, the resulting speech didn't become widely known until 3 years later, after his tragic death. It is, without a doubt, some of the best life advice we've ever come across, and perhaps the most simple and elegant explanation of the real value of education.

Quoted: Angelina Jolie on Guilt

"I don't believe in guilt.  I believe in living on impulse as long as you never intentionally hurt another person and don't judge people in your life.  I think you should live completely free."

Must Watch: Bridge

If you love Pixar's short movies, you will absolutely love this.

I'm really amazed at the amount of talented artists out there who's career paths never made it past college, or better yet, that it's taken so long to get noticed.  And I'm sure this goes on in many careers, but Ting is the exception.

Ting created this animation Thesis film during his time at the Academy of Art University in 2010, and has many times been mistaken for working at Pixar which he has not.  He clarifies this on his Vimeo website.  In his description...
Bridge is a story about four animal characters trying to cross a bridge, but ending up as obstacles to one another in the process. The moral behind this story revolves around how there are often disagreements or competing paths in life, and the possible results of pride, obstinance, and compromise.
