If Only You Could Share Your Coke
So what is Coca Cola famous for, aside from the bottle and the red and white colors? Sharing. Yep. You've seen the countless ads about "sharing a coke", but I promise you've never seen anything like this.

Opening a Soda on the Ocean Floor
So before Chris Hadfield showed us what wringing a wet towel in space was like, he was at the bottom of the ocean showing others what happens when you shake a soda can under sub-sea pressure.
I'm assuming he didn't try this test on the International Space Station.

The Thinnest Vending Machine In The World!
Wasn't I just talking about being a recovering Diet Coke addict yesterday? And then this damn Slender Vender commercial appears on the screen, and I'm craving Diet Coke all over again! I hate you!!!
All that aside, the vending machine, which dispenses small aluminum bottles, is pretty cool. Check out the video below - it has a catchy tune.

Rethink Your Drink
From school projects to city-wide campaigns, "Rethink Your Drink" has been around for a few years now. If you want proof this helps, I'm living it. I stopped drinking soft drinks and cut down sugar consumption dramatically. And it's made a difference in my life. Now, I don't agree with certain politicians who think we should force people to stop drinking what they want, these are choices we should make on our own. But knowing what we know today, we can prevent our children from developing horrible diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.

"When it comes to weight loss, there's no lack of diets promising fast
results. There are low-carb diets, high-carb diets, low-fat diets,
grapefruit diets, cabbage soup diets, and blood type diets, to name
a few. But no matter what diet you may try, to lose weight, you
must take in fewer calories than your body uses. Most people try
to reduce their calorie intake by focusing on food, but another
way to cut calories may be to think about what you drink." - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Must Watch: Coca-Cola - If You Stand Up, We Lose
I saw this video the other day and I'd have to say it's one of the best Coca-Cola advertisements I have seen in my life. The ad is titled, "Chairs".
I remember drinking up to 6 diet cokes a night while watching our TV shows. Not only was this contributing to an unhealthy lifestyle, but it was hurting our budget at the same time. Ryan doesn't drink soft drinks, so it took me a while to learn.
The ad is phenomenol, you have to watch it.
I'd have to say the did a terrific job of telling us what we should do with our lazy asses. Stand Up!

The Joys of Being a Parent: A Father & His Kids Cover Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts"
There's no better way of starting my blog this morning, than to blog about this father and his two kids performing a cover to Depeche Mode's "Everything Counts". Absolute genius I'm telling you. The father is using an 80's keyboard, a xylophone, a kazoo, tambourine, Coke bottle and his voice. His daughter is using a recorder, a rattle, windchime and her voice. And his son is using a toy keyboard, maraca, cheese grater and his voice. And it actually doesn't sound bad, it's great! I love it!
This is what my segment "The Joys of Being A Parent" is all about. Fathers and their kids, Mothers and their kids, and children in general. We were all there at some point, and when a parent shows this much interest in their babies as this man does, there is nothing but happiness and joy when I'm blogging about it.

Actually, this video shows a lot. He invests time teaching his kids music. I am impressed with how he has, obviously, motivated his kids to take an interest in making music. When I taught high school I noticed that an overwhelming majority of kids spend most of their time plugged in to their mp3 players, but have no interest in making music. Of course, many more things come into play when talking about someone’s parenting skills, but based on this video, the dad is pretty impressive. -lagaviotanum1

Back In The Day - Cola Classic Through The Years
I think they forgot to add the plastic bottle to the equation. I will say this, there was nothing better than drinking Coca Cola out of a glass bottle. No taste could compare. Agreed?
