Must Watch: Cut The World by Antony & The Johnsons
Starring actress Carice Van Houten and actor Willem Dafoe, this music video will leave you with your mouth wide open. I really don't know what to say about this video, aside from the fact that it was brilliant? Splendiferous? You decide. Maybe by watching it a second time you'll understand it more.

It was sad, shocking and very well done. Had they been sleeping together, considering how he was messing with his ring at the beginning, or did she just have enough and couldn't take it anymore? They never implied that he was an abusive boss, but maybe the reality of daily, trivial, task repetition that is the 9 to 5 job was just too much for either to handle anymore. It showed both of them staring off into the distance, possibly evaluating their lives, and wanting more, but only one had the will to break free from it all. The tear drop toward the end perhaps implied that she was truly sorry, but it's just something that had to be done. Who hasn't wanted to kill their boss at least once in their lives, or at least desired to make something else out of their lives besides the usual same shit, different day. I didn't see it coming. Did you?
