“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

What Does 2000 Calories Look Like?

So supposedly the Recommended Daily Allowance should be 2000 calories a day; Actually now it is termed "Recommended Daily Intake."

Sure, you can calculate how much you should be consuming on a daily basis by clicking here, but I don't necessarily agree with it.  I mean, c'mon, I'm supposed to be eating 2800 calories/day?  That's not gonna happen.  I've lost 62 pounds for a reason, and it wasn't by eating 2000 calories/day, much less 2800.

On a side note, this is what 2000 calories looks like...

Are you saying im eating too many or not enough? LoL. I wouldn't mind adding more but since im working im not able to workout like I want to. I walk every morning from the parking lot to the office which is quite a ways but without my padometer I don't know how far it is. Im guessing about 1/2 mile if im lucky. And I walk every evening too. I sit on my but all day. I need to do something. I might bring my arm weights to work. LoL.

Well you really should eat more, I end up eating more calories anyway, but that's because I know I worked out and exercised. At least make sure to take your vitamins. Also, since you're not exercising as much, you can never go wrong whole grains and fiber. You're doing really well, but 1200 calories, wow, I would starve. Lol.

Well that's what it tells me when I put my weight in. 1200. I guess im still too fat. LOL! !! I don't starve. Im doing pretty good at finding stuff that fills me up that's lower in calorie. I just wish I could work out. I miss my elliptical, etc. Oh yeah. Thanks for reminding me. Gotta take my vitamin.

I definitely gives you a perspective on what you're eating. Of course, you can have healthy calories and lots of them or smaller amounts of bad calories. Like the peeps desert. Probably not that many calories but lord almighty was it not in any way healthy.
