“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

Our Future Is In Their Hands - Take 3

As you all well know, online videos can go viral within a matter of days. But they can also go down just as fast.  Which is the case with this brilliant little boy named Calen

No longer available on YouTube, the following video takes place during a family Thanksgiving, where a gay couple, and this adorable little kid have a discussion on gay marriage.
“A husband’s a boy, a wife is a girl and a husband's a boy?” the boy confers “Then you two are husbands!? You married each other?! That’s funny.”

He then added, “I always see husbands and wives, but this is the VERY FIRST TIME I’ve ever seen husbands and husbands!" the boy exclaims... "So… that means you love each other!"
Now if the kid understands, why can't the bigots and hypocrites of this country understand?

"So that means you love each other!" - PRICELESS!

In the end, it didn't matter to him if this couple was gay, all he understood was that they loved each other, and that is all that mattered to him.

"I’m going to go play ping pong now. You can play too if you want,” he tells them.

I love this, he is so innocent and sweet. Good heart and good soul. Nothing better than that. Parents to be commended.

Another reason to show people that we're gay, we love each other and there's nothing wrong with that. Imagine if this kid stumbled upon us in the local walmart or mall and saw you saying that we shouldn't hold hands or be gay cause "It's just not right," and I quote. I know that the only part of that you believe is the whole, God forbid, PUBLIC part, but a kid like him wouldn't understand that. All he would see is what most kids see from their parents growing up, that gay is wrong, gay is bad and your in trouble and should be ashamed if you're gay. Times are changing and now with a state as big as New York ready to start marrying the gays; more and more people will continue to see that we're not the freak pedophiles that the christian conservative right want people to believe. We're no different from them except for some minor sex organs and considerably better taste. No offense straights but I've yet to see horrible flower wallpaper in any house of gays. Just saying. Why do you think that national organization for marriage and the american family association even now are not giving up in taking away are rights and spreading lies about us. It's not to protect marriage. Please, most of those hypocrites are single or divorced themselves. They hate us, they think we're disgusting abominations and they'd gladly ship us all to an island or concentration camps if they could. The last thing they want is for us to be normal, especially when it comes to the perception of a child. Sure, little Calen may turn out gay or straight but it will have absolutely nothing to do with the conclusion about the gay couple that he just met. He was born this way, and later in life he'll realize if he likes girls or boys all on his own. Being okay with gay people and seeing them enjoying all the rights of every other straight couple will not turn your child gay. Just like pressuring an effeminate child to "be a man" or telling him that gay is bad will not stop him from being gay himself. It will only hurt him, even to the point of death. My heart goes out for all of those kids that wished for relief from the bulling in their schools and everyday life. They are the ultimate result of anti-gay behavior and rhetoric in the classrooms, churches, government and walmarts or malls alike. They will only be spared when gay is known across the land as okay and not the evil that it can be portrayed to be. If little Calen grows up and realizes that he's gay, who knows, this gay couple, taking time to talk to him and be comfortable and happy with who they are, might have just saved this young boy's life. If he grows up straight then hopefully he'll stand up for the bullied effeminate kid in school and proudly tell everyone in class that there's nothing wrong with that. Either way some good has truly been done. Hopefully this video can be seen by more people. Thank you so much for posting it, my love. I love you with all my heart, body and soul, and if a little kid comes up to us in the mall or local walmart and asks us, "Are you married?" I will simply tell him that, in our hearts, we are. Maybe we just helped save another life too.
