Wow, I never knew such a thing existed. But if you haven't seen this, now is a better time than any. At the Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha, Qatar last week, Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang put on his largest "explosion event" of the last three years, utilizing microchip-controlled explosives to form incredible designs and patterns.
Each set of explosions is controlled and shaped by a computer, it is calculated to paint a different picture.
It really is a fascinating thing to watch.

Beautiful, fast, amazing and yet somewhat scary considering I'd worry about those blasts coming a little too close to the stands if I was there watching.
This brings out my inner PYRO. :)
