The Best of "WHEN I WAS A KID" Memes
Remember the meme I posted the other day? Yeah, I didn't think you did. It was the one where a kid was cowering with his hand over his face - "WHEN I WAS A KID.... blah, blah, blah.
Well, there's more!!! And you know most of you thought this way when you were a kid. You thought the world was black and white when your parents were young, because of the black and white TV shows. LOL.

Must Watch: The Lego Story
If you're in your 70's, 60's, 50's 40's, 30's, 20's, 10's or even 5, you'll enjoy this video.
Celebrating 80 years, Lego has put together a Pixar-esque video that is pretty darn cool - I really enjoyed watching it.
The video tells the story of how Lego came to be, and the origin of the famous painful-foot-stabbing bricks. LOL. You won't be disappointed.
Hell, If I'm correct, my mom still has my original Legos I played with as a kid. I need to have a talk with her. :-)

Captain Kathryn Janeway vs. The Cast of Frasier
I felt a little bit of nostalgia coming on, and had to post this video of Captain Kathryn Janeway from the television series, "Star Trek: Voyager".
The series aired from 1995-2001 on the UPN network which later changed it's name to the CW. It was the networks longest airing series at the time and I watched every single episode. Of all the Star Trek shows, this was by far, my favorite. The Captain, while foolish in her decisions at times, was statuesque, brave and downright sexy. We all loved her. Well... most of my friends did anyway. LOL.
In either case, the cast from the sitcom, "Frasier" which aired from 1993-2004 were featured alongside Captain Janeway and her bridge during the Emmy Awards and it was absolutely hilarious. Check it out.

Back In The Day - Disneyland 1957
Wow, let's go back to 1957 for a moment. You probably have mothers and fathers who were just being conceived, or maybe even grandmothers who were one or two. You may even have grandfathers who were teenagers, or parents who were getting married. Regardless of where you're loved ones were at the time, Disneyland was short of two-years-old when this video was made. What did it feel like to be in "The Happiest Place On Earth" in 1957?
The Disney History Institute cleaned the film, transferred it with a Spirit DataCine, and edited a few clips to music. But all of the images here are from 1957, before the park was even two years old.

Back In The Day - Lego circa 1989
Wow, seeing this today really brought back memories. Oh, how I loved my Legos, and I had this very box too! I truly miss being a child. Yes, I've grown wiser over the years, but it would be nice to go back in time just for a moment.

Isn't This The Truth? Everytime I Make A Snack For Someone
LOL, memories. Perfect example of me and my sister growing up. There was no difference in our sandwiches, just that I had already chosen mine, and that was that.

Back In The Day - Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor and Macaulay Culkin
It's crazy, but one of these celebrities is not like the other.
I was feeling a bit nostalgic, and thought I'd post a pic from back in the day - when Michael Jackson and Elizabeth Taylor were still alive. Macaulay Culkin still lives...
