What is my dad going to do without his all-time favorite show? I guess he'll have to sit around and mope. He's very picky about the shows he watches and doesn't care much for the shows my mother enjoys.
On Thursday, Charlie Sheen, the star of CBS' comedy show "Two and a Half Men" gave a ridiculous interview with a conservative radio host in the Bahamas. In less than 20 mintues, he not only managed to insult the creator of the show, but talked about his recent porn star hook-ups, calling them godesses and curing his alcoholism "with his mind."
"I violently hate Chaim Levine (Chuck Lorre). He's a stupid, stupid little man and a pussy punk that I'd never want to be like."
The interview was so insane (actually he's fucking insane, pardon my French) that CBS announced yesterday they were shutting down Two and a Half Men for the rest of the season "based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition."
Listen to the interview everyone's talking about down below, but let it be known, I could care less what happens to this idiot. As for the 200 or so people who work on the show who aren't high-paid writers or actors, they are the ones truly caught in the crossfire between Sheen, CBS and Warner Bros.

Spartacus: Gods of the Arena - Ends Tonight!
It seems just like yesterday when I was blogging about the series premiere of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, but the time has come, the end is nigh. At 9:00 PM Central Time tonight, with a special extended episode, the series prequel has made the events leading up to this point so much more clearer. I now understand how things started when we were first introduced to the characters in Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Watch the preview for tonight's episode, "The Bitter End" here:
Entertainment Weekly has an awesome interview on the progress of Andy Whitfield (Spartacus) and his ongoing struggle with cancer and the direction the new show will take.
There's also a special one hour episode of the new series, Camelot after the series finale of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, so make sure to check this out too.

Can you give fans an update on how Andy Whitfield is doing?
Last I heard he’s doing great, fighting the good fight, very much concentrating on his health and family. It’s a horrible thing, I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. I have no doubt Andy will beat it. He’s one of the strongest and most centered men I’ve ever met. He’s very private, but I hear third-hand that he looks great and is in high spirits.
Liam McIntyre, who will play Spartacus in season 2, looks a lot like Andy. How important was that? You can read more about the new series, when it will air and what to expect tonight without any spoilers being dished out. Check it out at Entertainment Weekly.com.
Not important at all. We were trying to find somebody who didn’t look exactly like him. We saw a thousand people. It came down to a handful of choices. Liam was the only one who resembled Andy. What we really loved about Liam is he had an honesty and intensity and compassion and sympathy in his performance — something that Andy really brought to the role. Spartacus doesn’t come from a place of anger.
There's also a special one hour episode of the new series, Camelot after the series finale of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, so make sure to check this out too.

The Question Is... Will This Cowboy Be There?
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, with attendance approaching over two and a half million visitors per year, is the world's largest livestock exhibition as well as the world's largest rodeo event, requiring the support of sixteen thousand volunteers.
Traditional trail rides, which start in central Texas and end in Houston, precede the Rodeo events. The three-week long event is held at Reliant Park in Houston, Texas and features bull riding, livestock judging, concerts, a parade, a carnival, trail rides, barbecue and wine competitions, shopping, sales, and auctions.
It has drawn some of the world's biggest recording artists, including Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, Brooks & Dunn, George Strait, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, Selena, Bon Jovi, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd, among others.
This year will be even better......so don't miss out!!!

Girls With Guns
And you thought I only posted pics of hot guys throughout the week. WELL YOU'RE WRONG!I'm bringing change, and posted some pictures of girls with guns.
Seriously, what is the world turning itself into, especially here in the United States and mine and Ryan's beloved home state of Texas? Little girls carrying guns, or boys for that matter, shouldn't be out parading themselves in front of a camera, showing how proud they are to have a weapon in their hands that can harm or kill someone.
I feel sorry for the fools who took these photos.

Who's Winning Best Picture?
I thought this chart was hilarious. Check it out, and see what you've chosen. I picked The Kids Are All Right and Toy Story 3. Though, in reality I'm having a hard time deciding between The Social Network and King's Speech.

What is the X-Factor?
You may have overheard it in a water-cooler conversation at work, learned about it while dancing at a club, or discovered it while browsing the web. The X-Factor is coming to the United States in September, and I'd have to say, apart from Wonder-woman this is the show I'm most eager to watch.
You're probably thinking that this is an American Idol rip-off doomed for failure, but that's where you're mistaken, the show has been around for 7 seasons. With Simon Cowell at the helm, the show flopping is rather unlikely, he is the producer and creator of the show after all.
There are major differences between Idol and X-factor - the first one being that it's open to anyone, of any age. You can be part of a group of 800, in a duo, trio, single, it doesn't matter. The auditions are held in front of 3,000-4,000 people, the finalists are mentored by a judge who is assigned a category and then aids the contestant with song selection and styling. There are many more surprises in store, check out this amazing trailer by Simon Cowell and you be the judge.

Foods That Make You Cringe - Issue No. 5
In my 5th issue of 'Foods That Make You Cringe,' you have your choice of two all-time favorites, cupcakes and Starbucks!
Every Thursday I'll be stating the obvious fact; that people make up the craziest shit, hence the reason people tell you, "This Is Why Your Fat." Yes, I know it's Saturday; I got behind on my regular posts.

Flashback to the 1990's
Every week I would like to post a music video or song popular in it's own decade. It will be similar to my "One Hit Wonders back when I ran Peter's Daily Blog.
Without the focus of an artist who only had one hot track in their career, this weekly series will feature a blend of everyone and everything, from hot artists, to not-so-hot artists, to one-hit wonders, to 10-hit wonders.
I will consider last week's music video flashback of Cazwell's "Ice Cream Truck" as my first issue, and continue this week with my second.
This week's song features a very popular track from 1996; "Magic Carpet Ride" by Mighty Dub Katz. It was huge success in all the major dance clubs of the time, and instantly became one of my favorite songs. Yes, I still have the cassette. LOL.
I came out to my family in 1996, and this song truly brings back memories. Take a listen down below.

Has anyone ever told you not to mess with them? Well this little guy will let you know how he really feels. He won't put up with your crap.

Why Save PBS?
Republicans have never been fond of public broadcasting. Republicans have always thought that public broadcasting across the board is liberal, and not particularly supportive of Republican and conservative points of view. Democrats tend not to think that, unless they're from very conservative districts.
I grew up watching Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers and NOVA, hell I even watched Austin City Limits which was awarded the National Medal of Arts by President George W. Bush in 2003. Here's a chart on why we should save PBS and tell me how you feel.

Maria Aragon Sings Born This Way on Ellen
The 10 yr old girl who became an internet sensation overnight, with over 10 million hits on YouTube, appeared on Ellen's show yesterday.
"It’s about just being yourself because God made you who you are and you’re no different than anybody else,” Maria Aragon said. “That’s a good message, isn’t it,” DeGeneres replied.
You can say what you wish about Gaga and her music, but this song has meaning and this little girl has proven it. Children are the future, and if kids believe in the message that the song sends out, there will be a lot less discrimination and a lot less teen suicide in the world. Lady Gaga herself was brought to tears when she saw this video, tweeting:
“Can’t stop crying watching this. This is why I make music. She is the future.”Check out the video below and feel free to click on the picture above to use as a wallpaper for your computer.

MTV's Skins On A Downward Spiral
As I mentioned on Facebook several months ago, you cannot re-boot a show without it's lovely, gay character. Sure they had their lesbian version of Maxxie, but there is no comparison when it comes to the beautiful young man who was on the British version for two seasons. Needless to say, the U.S. Version of Skins is meeting its demise rather quickly. When the show premiered on January 19th, the show garnered 3.2 million viewers. Last week the show couldn't pull through a million. All the major advertisers have refused to run commercials, aside from Clearasil and movie trailers. When have you heard anything about the show? I happen to agree with Ben Mandleker down below, I haven't seen anyone talking about it on Facebook or Twitter.
“Quite frankly—no one I know watches ‘Skins’,” TV critic and editor of bsideblog.com, Ben Mandelker tells FOX411. “Absolutely no one is talking about ‘Skins’ on the Internet. Maybe in some forum, somewhere, but it’s not being talked about on Vulture, Gawker—I’m not seeing links on Facebook, I’m not seeing things on Twitter. I forget the show is even on. I don’t even know when it’s on, to be honest.”
Ryan and I watched 3 seasons of the British version and thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the U.S. Version, I think they got it all wrong. Once again... another show gone bust that I knew wouldn't make it.

Some Brothers Are Pissed
So the gloves have come off, and it's poor defenseless Britney holding herself against the big brother group of the late 70's, early 80's - The Bellamy Brothers.
Back in 1979, the duo released a self-titled track called, "If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body" with the lyrics “If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?”
What's so funny about this topic is I had mentioned it on Facebook when Britney released her song, "Hold It Against Me," and now it's coming back to haunt her.
As much as I loved the Bellamy Brothers way back when, I'm on Britney's side this time. The lyrics don't exactly match theirs and it's been over 30 years c'mon.
David Bellamy states, “Howard and I have no personal beef with Britney. She’s a talented gal. But professionally we feel completely ripped off." Really man? Really?
Listen to their song and tell me what you think.

Ryan Phillippe for InStyle Magazine
Photoshopped or not, Ryan Phillippe still looks good. So he's been brushed up a little, wrinkles removed to look like he's 18 going on 17 when in reality he's 36. Okay, so InStyle magazine went a little overboard.
Either way, he's still mighty fine. Though, they could have used the Men's Health photos from last May; those were superb quality and more of the way he's supposed to look.
