Magical Fun 101: The Burning Wallet
OMG this is downright hilarious. I know I have many series or segments that I run on my blog, but sometimes it takes me two or three months to find interesting information to post, so it's well worth the wait. In my new series, Magical Fun 101, I bring you a guy who likes playing magical tricks on cashiers at drive-thru restaurants.
In this particular case, each time he drives up to the window to pay, he pulls out his wallet which catches on fire. Each one of them jump back and say some of the craziest shit. LOL, it's hilarious. At one point, he says it's the sun shining through the window that causes it, or the moon if he drives up at night. People actually look out the window and look up.

Mind-Boggling News: Woman Goes On Rampage at Fast Food Restaurant
What is wrong with people, really? Am I just being too judgemental?
When idiots like this (see video) walk into a McDonald's restaurant, and go all American Psycho on the employees, they're not only making a fool of themselves, but showing the world how well our education system is working. Okay, maybe I shouldn't have said that, because smart people pull this crap too. In either case, this is the second time in two weeks I've come across a disturbing video a involving a McDonald's restaurant.

I don't think I'll be working at a McDonald's anytime soon - it's life or death it seems like. My love (my partner Ryan), if you're reading this, please stay at Bank of America - it's safer!

Christians Perform Live Crucifixions
I'm going to say, you're not a true Christian unless you can do what your fellow brethren in the Philippines do every Easter. PERFORM LIVE CRUCIFIXIONS.YES, you just read that.
Every "Good Friday" Christians in the Philippines partake in annual ritual (that's what I will call it) where they re-enact the bloody crucifixion of Jesus Christ by beating, and nailing volunteers to an actual wooden cross. Those who wish to portray the son of God, say its a blessing to take part in something so true to their hearts. One American, who wanted to witness a "live" crucifixion went so far as to say, "from what I've seen so far it seems pretty exciting, pretty crazy, but totally a unique experience, something that I would never see in America." No Fucking Shit!

Is Sodomy Illegal In Your State?

Hobin makes the following statement in his portfolio:
The quizzical disposition of youth and the pervasive nature of the media are symbolically represented in my images through tableau-vivant re-enactments of the very current events that adults might wish to keep out of their child’s world. Just as children make a game of pretending to be adults as a way to prepare and ultimately take on these roles in later life, so too do they explore things that they hear or see, whether or not they completely understand the magnitude of the event or the implications of their play.

Kids Fear The Easter Bunny
Was the video below really necessary? These kids will be traumatized for the rest of their lives, and then you wonder why people have a fear of the Easter Bunny.
Now I'm scared of the damn thing, and that's because Ryan and I just finished watching "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" last week.
Then again this could be used as an instructional video for Jehovah's Witnesses, don't they hate Easter?
I'm sorry, that was out of line - they just don't celebrate any holiday as they interpret it as idol-worshiping.

Remember that hilarious Volkswagen ad which became the most viewed, and most popular commercial during the Superbowl - the Darth Vader one?
Well Marvel Comics thought it would be a good way to promote it's new movie, "Thor" in much the same way, and it is downright hilarious. Take a look.

Adele's "Someone Like You" for the Gays
More often than naught you get a song that fits perfectly for a heterosexual couple - either going through a failed relationship or a happy one.
But boy is it hard to find a cover to a song that leans towards a gay audience, and Adele's song, "Someone Like You" does just that. I was listening to several covers of her song last night, and Eli Lieb's version of her song simply blew me away; I had Ryan listen to it, and it drew us both to tears. It drew us ever more closer to one another - which only goes to prove that I can never be without him in my life. Take a listen, as Eli changes the word "girl" to "boy."
It's amazing how such a simple word like "him" and "her" or "boy" and "girl" can make a huge difference in someone's life. I feel more artists should look into this, because you don't have many who perform songs that play to both genders. It's either a woman singing about a man whom she loves or hates, or a man singing about a woman in a similar situation. It's never about man singing about another man, those are few and in-between.
Chris Kennedy to the left and below is from the UK and part of a three-person group called "The Shures." The group formed when a girl from the U.S., a boy from the UK, and another boy from Australia met over two years ago on a music networking site and fell in love with each other’s voices. Group member Ashley Burns from West Virginia brought up the idea of creating an online album to her two friends and from there, the online band concept was born. They entered an online competition but when they needed to enter a name, they noticed they were nameless. Third band member, Gabriel Cabrera from Australia came up with “The Shures” and they all decided to run with it. Chris also changed the gender of the song from "girl" to "boy" in the video below.

Happy Earth Day 2011
Over the years, Ryan and I have done our part by planting trees that will last for years to come, bought energy-efficient light bulbs for our entire home, and recycled as part of our community's efforts to preserve our beautiful land, but I learned a few things about Earth Day that I previously didn't know, like...
You can read more about this amazing holiday at the Earth Day Network and Wikipedia, which provided the wonderful information above; They do a really good job of covering it's history. So check it out, it doesn't hurt to read more about the countless efforts millions of people around the world have made to help save Mother Earth.Earth Day was founded by Democratic Senator Gaylord Nelson from Wisconsin in 1970, after making a trip to Santa Barbara, California in 1969; He was so outraged by the devastation that he proposed a national teach-in on the environment to be observed by every university and campus in the U.S.. He felt the need for this teach-in was really important for the new generation approaching them.
In 2009, the United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day
Over 20 million people participated on Earth Day held on April 22, 1970, and is now observed by more than 500 million people worldwide, and several national governments in 175 countries.
Senator Nelson chose the date in order to maximize participation on college campuses for what he conceived as an "environmental teach-in". He determined the week of April 19–25 was the best bet as it did not fall during exams or spring breaks. Moreover, it did not conflict with religious holidays such as Easter or Passover, and was late enough in spring to have decent weather. More students were likely to be in class, and there would be less competition with other mid-week events—so he chose Wednesday, April 22.
