“If you can’t love yourself, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?” - RuPaul - - - - - - - - - - - “if by a "Liberal" they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say I'm a "Liberal.” - John F. Kennedy - - - - - - - - - - - - “Imagine finding someone you love more than anything in the world, who you would risk your life for but couldn’t marry. And you couldn’t have that special day the way your friends do – you know, wear the ring on your finger and have it mean the same thing as everybody else. Just put yourself in that person’s shoes. It makes me feel sick to my stomach …. When I shared a picture of my tattoo on my Twitter page and said, ‘ALL LOVE is equal,’ a lot of people mocked me – they said, ‘What happened to you? You used to be a Christian girl!’ And I said, ‘Well, if you were a true Christian, you would have your facts straight. Christianity is about love.’ The debate resulted in a lot of threats and hate mail to people who agreed and disagreed with me. At one point I had to say, ‘Dude, everyone lay off.’ Can’t people have friendly debates about sensitive topics without it turning into unnecessary threats?” - Pop star Miley Cyrus on her marriage equality tattoo - - - - - - - - - - -

I Quote That - Christian Nation

The Refrigerator Thief

I think everyone has experienced it in some form or another.

The "Refrigerator Thief" is in every work place.  And if you haven't spotted it yet, wait till you get out of college and start working in the corporate world.

This anonymous author felt compelled to go even further, but then again, I might have done the same thing if my food kept disappearing.

Blade's Box of Jams: Track #12 - Our Deal

Currently listening to...
Best Coast
Have a hanky ready.  I've been wanting to post this for a while.  The music video below by Best Coast features several young Hollywood stars, Chloe Moretz from "Kick-Ass," Miranda Cosgrove, from "iCarly," Alia Shawkat from "Arrested Development," and Tyler Posey from "Teen Wolf."

The video, produced and directed by Drew Barrymore follows Moretz and Posey who play the romantic leads in the film.  They fall in love at first sight, much like Maria and Tony in West Side Story (which by the way Ryan and I saw for the first time this week).  Of course, it's never as easy as it seems.  You have these two lovebirds who are on opposite gangs falling for each other.  The film has a perfect way of moving you in-between the scenes, giving you hints through graffiti along the way. Definitely a pretty song. Very Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story, and Rebel Without A Cause.

SNL Exclusive: Politcs Nation With Al Sharpton

LOL, absolutely hilarious!  And this is why I don't watch this show on MSNBC.  Half the time I don't think Al Sharpton knows what he's talking about.  Him and that damn blueberry pie, I swear!  He does have one thing right in this clip.  Republicans do have rocks in their heads.

Poster of the Week - Issue No. 38 - Irresponsibility

Continuing alphabetically, I bring you this week's poster, "Irresponsibility".

Wow, leave it to the Japanese to come up with these insane McDonald's ads.  "Insane" meaning, pretty cool.  And why is it that foreign companies come up with the best ads, or newest products?  I never heard of this sandwich, but it does sound good. :-).  Love the couture.

Isn't This The Truth? Everytime I Make A Snack For Someone

LOL, memories.  Perfect example of me and my sister growing up.  There was no difference in our sandwiches, just that I had already chosen mine, and that was that.

The Skittles Burger

Who knew? LOL.

"What's Going On" Video Nears 8,000,000 Views

This video went viral last week.  It was all over Facebook, the blogoshphere, and practically all over the web.  It's poignant, meaningful, and it will make you cry.  It's heartbreaking that someone has to go through life feeling this way.  As parents, how can we allow this sort of thing to go on?  Was carrying your child for 9 months just a joke?

It really perturbs me to say this, but why would people condemn this video?  If you were to read some of the hateful comments people posted on this video, it would sicken you.  At least I hope it would.

I don't get Christians, or the ones who say they "wholeheartedly" believe in God.  These same people mentioned God in their comments, yet added filthy language while posting their hateful messages at the same time.

People go so far as to say the video was a fake, that Jonah was crying fake tears and that he's just a "faggot" wanting attention.  Really?  Are you people that ignorant?  And if it was? So what!  You're still missing the message behind it. This goes on every day.  Wouldn't you want your kids to be upfront with you?  Not afraid to tell you anything.  Instead they hide in shame because you tell them, they're screwed up, need therapy or simply because carrying them for 9 months really was a joke.

Crimes of the Century - No. 3 - The Fake Ape Man

THE FAKE APE-MAN, 1912

Eoanthropus dawsoni was the scientific name of this alleged missing link, and it would have been an extremely early example of a creature showing both human and apelike qualities.

At 375,000 years old, it put England in contention for a cradle of humankind, being found in the Sussex town of Piltdown. The "first Englishman" he was proudly called when the anthropologist Charles Dawson found him in 1911.

For decades, Piltdown Man was cited along with Neanderthal man and Heidelberg man as an example of early hominid life in Europe.

Then in 1953, the fragments, including a jawbone, were tested: they did not contain enough fluorine to be the age that Dawson claimed; worse, the jawbone was that of a 10-year-old orangutan, its teeth ground down to simulate age, and a crude chemical wash applied to the bone to make it appear ancient.

No one knows who perpetrated the hoax: Dawson had died in 1916. Very quickly, however, Piltdown became a synonym for phony; and England's claim to antiquity was cut short by several hundred thousand years.

****
According to Wikipedia: The Piltdown hoax is perhaps the most famous paleontological hoax ever. It has been prominent for two reasons: the attention paid to the issue of human evolution, and the length of time (more than 40 years) that elapsed from its discovery to its full exposure as a forgery.

Abercrombie & Fitch Opens Another Store With a Billion Hotties Posing Shirtless

Back in September, Singapore was pissed off because Abercrombie & Fitch placed this scantly ad outside one of their precious malls.  I wonder what they're going to do now that Abercrombie has opened their new store in Singapore with a billion half-naked, hot boys posing shirtless outside their store.

I think they hired the same boys from the store opening in France, don't you think?

Are People Really This Stupid? Issue No. 15 - Parallel Parking

Okay, imagine yourself parking..... you know what? Just forget it!  Are people really this stupid?

I know I rant and rave about crazy shit everyday, but this has got to be the most idiotic thing I've ever seen.  If I came out of my apartment, store, or wherever the hell I was, and saw this idiot trying to parallel park in front or behind me, there would be hell to pay.  This guy literally squeezes his way into a parking spot, hitting the cars parked in front and behind him.

True, he doesn't slam into them, he nudges his car in between them.  I'm sorry, I can't imagine any of you taking this from anyone.

Uh Oh, Santa

I think someone forgot to tell the Night Stockers at Wal-Mart that before they set up the soda display, Santa usually says, Ho, Ho, Ho.  Unless Santa was doing something naughty. LOL.

Must Watch: Christmas Day

Remember that movie "Valentine's Day"?  Yeah, me neither.
So the release of "New Year's Eve" was released yesterday, and.... well, they're already thinking of the next movie.  Yep, supposedly it's going to star everyone that is currently working in Hollywood.  Sounds pretty hot, doesn't it?

Well, now's your chance to catch a sneak peek of the 2012 movie, "Christmas Day."

It's Purely Animal - Issue No. 39 - Cat vs. Spider

It's down to the wire.  Who will take the first, second and third round?  Hell, who will take the final round? It's CAT vs. SPIDER!  The ultimate showdown.  Well... I think the video title gives it away. Check it out, it's purely animal!

*No animals were hurt in the making of this video.

Hanging Christmas Lights

Yep, this is pretty much what happens. LOL.

What a Hot Mess: Santa Claus Is Coming To Bieber's Town

I thought that Justin Bieber's video release of Under The Mistletoe was a hot mess, but the song actually grew on me.  They play it on the radio so damn much!  I'm actually listening to it now. LOL.

But the following video release of Santa Claus is Coming To Town is truly one Hot Christmas Mess!

He prances around Santa's workshop wearing some weird ass clothes, but the best part is when starts rapping, "So it’s that time of year, when you let all your problems go. And you know, you just … shake it, shake it baby."

Yeah, I won't be getting hooked on this song anytime soon. Can we just have these good 'ol fashioned kids singing the song instead.
