Kiss of the Week - Issue No. 004
When I started my "Kiss of the Week" series in 2007 on Peter's Daily Blog, I never thought I would get as far as I did with it. At the beginning I was only posting photos of two hot guys kissing, but later incorporated a "Quote of the Day" with it - and the rest is history.
Over the next few months I will be posting my original posts and slowly introducing this series to my current BLADE 7184 readers. So without further ado, here's the fourth issue, originally posted on July 14, 2007...

What a Hot Mess: Want Some Paid Time Off? Plaster Your Mom's Pic In The Obituary
What a hot mess! I can't imagine my mom finding out from relatives that she had passed away, and my mother not knowing she had.
Seriously. Imagine your face plastered all over the obituary section of your local newspaper, and then showing up to work after a nice long vacation. Actually, that sounds kinda funny. People would be running all over the place thinking they've seen a ghost. LMAO.
Well, Scott Bennett from Brooksville, Pennsylvania was going to get paid for missing work, one way or another. Even if it meant taking a picture of his mother, and posting a fake announcement of her death. What happens next was more than he bargained for.
After mommy shows up at the newspaper's office to prove that she is, who she says she is, the police get involved. It's then they realize they have a serious case on their hands, LOL. After a thorough investigation they end up finding out it was her son who made up the whole thing, because he didn't want to get fired from his job.
I think Scott probably took more time off than he should have, and needed to find something to cover all the days he had missed. Otherwise, if he was gone for only one day, a simple case of "food poisoning" would've taken care of it. Lol. You reckon he still has a job?

Daytime Fireworks Display
Wow, I never knew such a thing existed. But if you haven't seen this, now is a better time than any. At the Arab Museum of Modern Art in Doha, Qatar last week, Chinese artist Cai Guo-Qiang put on his largest "explosion event" of the last three years, utilizing microchip-controlled explosives to form incredible designs and patterns.
Each set of explosions is controlled and shaped by a computer, it is calculated to paint a different picture.
It really is a fascinating thing to watch.

Help! Adopt a Bro
LMAO! This is perfect!
The video starts off by stating that, "Every single day on college campuses, bros lose their best friends because their best friends now have girlfriends."
Oh, and nevermind that you have Sarah McLachlan's, "Angel" playing in the background. As if the sad pictures of bros flashing through the screen were not pitiful enough. LOL.

Have Yourself A Very Merry Grenade Christmas
Sure, go right ahead and buy these to go along with your Santa and Machine Guns family portrait. LOL. You'll be the only one in town who has them. Well... unless you live in Cut-n-shoot or Grangerland, Texas. Just kidding. I love all of you who live out there, even if there's still cross burnings.

Laugh of the Day: I Gave My Kids A Terrible Present
Remember that candy eating prank parents played on their kids the day after Halloween? If you haven't seen it, it was absolutely hilarious! You can watch it here.
Well, Jimmy Kimmell is at it once again, but this time it's a holiday prank. He asked the parents of America to tell their kids they are going to allow them to open one present a few weeks early, but instead of a good present, he advised them to put something the kids wouldn't like in the box, upload it to YouTube, and label it, "Hey Jimmy Kimmel, I gave my kids a terrible present."
And boy, were they terrible. Some of the kids went ballistic and some of them were just shocked. This video will definitely be your laugh of the day! Check it out.

How To Explain Gay Rights To An Idiot
There are so many people in this country who try to associate our rights with those of a pedophile, animals, or marrying a tree, that we don't know how else to explain to these idiots the difference between inanimate objects or people that are alive. So a big thank you goes out to the very bright individual who wrote the following post, and my Facebook friend, Brett Daminski for posting it on his wall. The moment I read it, I knew I had to share it with my blog readers. I Absolutely love it!
Explaining Gay Rights
To People Who Make The Huge Leap That
If We Legalize Gay Marriage It Will Open
The Doors To All Sorts of Ridiculous Things
Like Marrying Your Toaster, Children, The Dead Or Your Dog
By NevermoreFTW
Yes, someone really debated me about the toaster on the basis that you could give your own possessions consent to marry.
Now let's move on...
That is inequality, the following is not...
Additional not like gay rights examples...
Hopefully gay rights makes more sense.

If The World Were A Village of 100 People: Issue No. 15 - Literacy
This is the 15th poster out of the 20 posters I have shared with you over the past several months.
Every week I have been asking, "What if the world were a village of 100 people?" And by using statistics based on the spread of the population in the world, Toby Ng Design created these posters as another way of looking at how our world is today.
If you missed any of the previous issues, click here.

Our Future Is In Their Hands - Take 6
Do not attempt to have your kids attempt this at home, for fear of scalding themselves with extremely hot substances. But if these little kids can do Expresso at home, I'm sure you can too, right? Provided you can afford to buy the $5,000 Expresso machine.
