Facebook 101: Facebook via Adolf Hitler 1938

OMG, when I saw these, I couldn't keep myself from laughing!!!!  You have to see what Facebook would have been like during 1938, shortly before the start of WWII and 7 years before the end of Hitler's reign in 1945.  Germany, Japan, France, and the U.S. - All had Facebook!  It is rated NSFW do to some vulgar language.

Must Watch: Superman vs. The Hulk

I saw a video this morning on my Facebook newsfeed that blew me away.  I attribute this to Facebook friend, Sean Hodges for sharing it.  Thank you Sean. 

Since we're on the subject of Superheros.... you're going to love all three of these videos - Trust me, you will.  The artist is unbelievably talented, and I'd have to say a CGI genius.  I'm going to download the videos before DC and Marvel get a hold of his work.  You know there's always some type of legal ramification for this sort of thing.

How many of you have wanted to see two of the most powerful entities in the comic book universe square off in battle royale outside of the comic book pages? Since neither Marvel or DC Comics will cross their content streams in the world of movies–crossover comic stories don’t count; nor do video games–it’s up to the fans to provide what’s missing.

And that’s just what Michael Habjan did by bringing us installments of his “Superman vs Hulk: The Fight” series. There have been three of these installments of the fan-made series, with the latest one dropping earlier this week. Part one of the fight hit YouTube on June 11, 2011, and after over 4 million views, the incentive to continue with further “episodes” was obvious. It should be noted the series began with an introduction video before the fight episodes, acting almost as a trailer for the upcoming videos.

This led to the first episode of the fight, which dropped six months after the initial video, which gives you an idea about how long it takes Habjan to make these videos. Next up is the first installment of the Hulk/Superman throwdown:

For part two, Habjan concentrated on improving the look of the models he used for both Superman and the Hulk, and the results are noticeable:

Notice how it ends with something of a cliffhanger? Will the Hulk pound Superman into dust or will Kal-El be able to turn the tables and get the upper hand? Since Habjan has already indicated Part 3 will soon be available, it’s clear the fight between the two comic book power houses isn’t over. Not even close. As for the production and the credits, Habjan lists them over at video’s YouTube page, while acknowledging he’s not affiliated with either Marvel or DC. With that in mind, it’s a little surprising neither company has stepped in and issued a cease and desist request.

Hungry for Cato or Alexander?

The movie, Hunger Games hasn't even hit theaters yet, and girls, and boys are swooning over this guy, really?  LOL.

Unbeknownst to you, Alexander Ludwig, the main attraction of the upcoming movie, had to put his rockstar dreams on hold, because he wasn't able to pull a Justin Bieber fast enough.  Who knew Cato could sing?  Actually he just released his track, "Liv It Up (Teenage Wasteland)" on Monday, March 6, 2012.

I'm assuming with some of the results coming in rather late on “Super Tuesday,” some of the reporters had to stay up a little past their bed times;  And today, they’re paying for it.

All week you had experts saying that satellites were going to be raining from the sky, no one would be able to talk on their cell phones, electronic devices would be going haywire, and planes would have to be re-routed.  Oh, they re-routed alright, but when the Solar Storm passed nothing happened.  I think these are the same people who do our weather forecasts here in Houston - they never get it right.

Personally, I think it's waiting for the end of the world in December.  What do you think?

Over the last 9 weeks I have been posting a Disney Prince of the Week.  Can you guess the movie and the name of the character who played this week's Prince? 

While he's not technically a Prince in the movie, the artist considers him the girl counter-part of a Disney Animated movie.  Hence in the eyes of the artist, he's a Prince of Disney.

People who have already seen this movie are raving about it, but it doesn't come without the backlash from the folks on the right - the Reds.  To put it in simple terms, instead of people placing aside their political differences when watching this film, there's the pre-conceived notion that Hollywood was being biased in the making of this film.

Well, I kinda have to agree with that; Where's the first part of the book by Halperin and Heilemann?  You know - the part where Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were at each other's throats?  But place this aside for the moment, because we all know that a majority of the REDs would agree that Palin wasn't fit to handle the job.  And even more were weary of her becoming President if something would have happened to John McCain.  But going back to the book the film is based on - more than 300 people were interviewed who were involved in the McCain/Palin campaign, so it begs the question, how could it be false if all these people were involved in the campaign?

Watch the trailer, it's definitely is an award-winning film and makes for must-see-TV.  It's definitely something Ryan and I will be watching this Saturday night on HBO - 8PM Central

I sure hope whoever lives in this small town of 8,000 people doesn't have Arachnophobia, because it looks pretty darn scary.  Did you get that?  If you have a fear of spiders do not view these photos.

It feels like I was just telling this story to a group of friends on Monday during dinner.  It was about a time when I was in college and living in the dormitory.  I can't even count how many times this happened to me, but while my laundry was drying, some bozo would go in and take it out when it wasn't even dry yet.  Boy did that piss me off, but what really did it for me was when my bath towels went missing.  All hell broke loose.  Have you ever had any of your clothes or towels gone missing while in college?

Last Night KARA Stunned a Nation and The World

As you all know I'm not big on gaming.  It never was a hobby, nor was it ever entertaining for me. The most I've ever had fun playing growing up was Pac-Man or Duck Hunt. LOL.  But this has got to be the best gaming trailer I have ever seen to date, and I have seen many.

Quantic Dream, the maker of this amazing piece of work released the following video last night as you were probably sleeping. LOL. I didn't even know about it, until I saw it in my inbox from Ryan (my partner) this morning.

The company has been hush, hush ever since their successful game, Heavy Rain was released, and gamers everywhere have been curious to know what they've been up to.  And OMG, even though this is just a tech demo, it clearly shows that this company has the ability to create something so stunning and emotionally riveting at the same time.  The video was only meant to show off the company's technological advancement, but now everyone is hoping they would consider making this into a game.

WTF Has Obama Done? - Issue No. 023 - Government Efficiency

What is government efficiency?  Well it's doing your best by finding success in reducing government operating costs when you get elected into office.  And President Barack Obama has done just that by managing to cut government expenses by the billions.  This can be done by simply using different software or hardware in different departments, reversing the Bush-era no-bid and single-bidder contracts in order to find the best contractor who can do the best work for the least amount of money, and so forth.

Today I will introduce you to a broad policy, a specific cut, and a targeted action by this President and his administration.  By providing these open government efforts it helps keep spending under control, and this is what we want in a President.

President Barack Obama is extending a freeze on the pay of senior White House officials for another year and he’s spreading the freeze to top political appointees across the federal government, Obama aides said Tuesday night. 

Obama is expected to announce the freeze during his State of the Union address Wednesday, officials said. He will also extend a ban he imposed last year on paying bonuses to political appointees, according to White House aides. 

“The president recognizes and we all recognize that the nation faces some really difficult choices,” an administration official who asked not to be named said. “Families are making tough choices, businesses are making tough choices. Agencies maintain many databases containing information on a recipient's eligibility to receive Federal benefits payments or Federal awards, such as grants and contracts.  By checking these databases before making payments or awards, agencies can identify ineligible recipients and prevent certain improper payments from being made in the first place." - Barack Obama  [Read More]
