So far the season for new television series have been kinda blah. Hell, Ryan and I still haven't been able to grasp on to The X-Factor and Dancing With The Stars. There are so many shows coming up like The Walking Dead, which premieres tonight, and Spartacus early next year. We already watch Glee which airs on Tuesdays, Harry's Law which airs alongside Modern Family on Wednesday nights. And we also watch Dexter and Boardwalk Empire which airs on Sunday nights, I mean, the list goes on.
But there's one new series I'm really curious to see. Since Pan Am, Terra Nova, 2 Broke Girls, Whitney, The Secret Circle, Revenge, and Ringer have all gone on the way side, and teetering towards cancellation, American Horror Story shows promise.
Check out the first 5 minutes of this pretty amazing show that started 2 weeks ago.

Our Future Is In Their Hands - Take 5
Earlier this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Jimmy Kimmel broke into a school and spoke with some kids about politics. It was so darn entertaining.
I swear, these kids are the cutest and sweetest. When Jimmy asks them what party they belong to, they say the "Family Party."
When they're asked what the difference is between the Democrat and Republican parties, one of the kids responds, "a democrat is somebody who wants help people and republicans are those who do not want to help people"
Jimmy laughs and says, "I think we know where know where mommy and daddy stand."
OMG, this is hilarious...it gets better.

Landscapes: Volume Two
If you have never taken the chance to explore the Southwestern United States, you can now catch a glimpse of it in this absolutely stunning video footage by photographer Dustin Farrell. He is producing a three-part Landscapes series of unbelievable scenes in captivating time-lapse video.
Using a Canon 5D2 DSLR camera and processed with Adobe software, it is an amazing video to watch. If you do not have a high-definition 1080p monitor, then "bug a friend" who does, so says the photographer, "it is a much better viewing experience."
I will say this, even if you do not have a high-definition monitor, this video is breath-taking, captivating, and awe-inspiring. And the background music makes it even that much better.

Other Uses for Toasters
Man, I'm on a roll with these "other uses for things" postings. LOL, yesterday I mentioned Oreos, and on Thursday I mentioned Candy Corn. Now it's Toasters! To make an excellent grilled cheese sandwich, turn your toaster sideways on a heat-resistant surface and insert bread and cheese. It's that simple. No more messy pans, butter or spatulas! This is pure genius!

The Gods of Immortals
I posted it as a "Movies To Watch" here and here. How many of you will go see Immortals? I, for one, am excited.
The movie premieres on 11/11/11, 3 days before my birthday and I figured I could go watch it with my husband and friends. I Can't wait! I mean, with bodies like these two, who wouldn't want to? Watch the trailer here.

Must Watch: Coffee Snobs
OMG, this video by Funny or Die was absolutely hilarious!
When a patron asks for a Caramel Macchiato, the coffee shop worker responds: "Am I wearing a green apron? Do you hear Ray LaMontagne playing right now? Are there a bunch of pre-made sandwiches and hard boiled eggs in that case? Are there a bunch of homeless people waiting in line to use the bathroom? Do you see me writing down people's names on a paper cup? Just so you know, a macchiato is a shot of expresso with a little foam on top, it's not a giant latte slatthered whip cream with caramel squeezed all over it."
Check it out, it will definitely make your day. Especially those coffee drinkers addicted to Starbucks.

What a Hot Mess: Christina Aguilera Shocking Photos
When I saw these pics yesterday, I almost died. What a Hot Mess! What's happened to you my poor Christina? Christina Aguilera performed at the The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff Wales last Saturday in an all-star musical tribute to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. All the buzz was on how Christina allowed herself to balloon to a plus size woman. Nothing against plus-size women, because I love me some Adele any day, she's beautiful. But Christina, the outfit? Really?
It's okay girl, we've all been there, you'll be back! Look at Britney Spears, Kirstie Alley, and countless others.
Other Uses for Oreos
LOL, Yesterday I posted a chart about Other Uses for Candy Corn. And then I came across this pic, and I couldn't keep from laughing.
Question is, should it have been "Other Uses for Forks"? I like the Oreo title better. LOL.

Who Are The 1 Percent?
Here's a little chart for all you people who have no idea who the hell the top 1 percent of income earners are. And a part of me thinks you're probably not in it.
You can click on the pic to find out more about it, or read Mother Jones to view the charts reflecting what they own, and what they make.

He's Hot, He's Asian, He's Harry Shum Jr. - Part Tres
I don't know why I love this guy so much, but he's downright sexy! He's absolutely beautiful, absolutely gorgeous, absolutely strong and absolutely muscular.
Harry Shum, Jr. graces the inner covers of this month's DAMAN magazine, and he is nothing short of lickable.
For those who may not know or know of him, he plays Mike Chang on the popular television show, GLEE. He was also featured in my previous two posts from March and April.
This year he was promoted as a regular cast member on the show, where he actually started singing. He took vocal lessons over the summer and has already sung a song in a recent episode. I'd have to say he sounded great. Actually, all of him was great :-).
And here's a little trivia.... Harry was born to Chinese parents, but was born in Costa Rica. His first language is Spanish.

The Woes of Being a Bad Parent - Children of the Corn
Seriously? Who takes a 3-week old baby into a huge ass field of corn, only to get lost? Second, if you can't seem to make it out through the maze, why didn't you just walk through the corn stalks? And third, you were only 25 feet from the exit! What a hot fucking mess!
I'm sorry, but who the hell takes a 3 week (3 WEEKS!) into a corn maze the size of Texas!?!?
I'm sorry, but I struggled with listing this as one of my "What A Hot Mess" segments, and instead posted it as "The Woes of Being a Bad Parent," because that's what they are. Ugh.
Okay, maybe I'm being too harsh. What do you think of all this? Personally, I would love to walk through a maze with Ryan. But we wouldn't be taking our 4 week old niece (literally) with us.
