What a Hot Mess: Crazy Bitch Goes OFF On Bus Driver
The title to the video below was the perfect title for this post. This video is laden with profanity beyond anything I've ever heard. Well...... nevermind that, mine and Ryan's friend, Renee can give her a run for some money.
I swear, every sentence has a curse word in it. If you're at work, I highly recommend you turn the volume down, or wear some headphones, because this crazy bitch goes off on the bus driver like there's no tomorrow. "You need to shut the f*ck up and drive your bus, you miserable old f*cking man!...You f*cking honky!"
Do people really still use that word? Honky? Really? What a Hot Mess!

The Joys of Being a Parent: Miltary Dad Wrapped Up As A Gift
Geez, if this video doesn't bring you to tears, I don't know what will. Two little kids are taken by surprise when they find a huge box with their names on it. Unbeknownst to them, their Dad has returned from deployment to surprise them. When they see who pops out, they become so overwhelmed with joy, they begin to cry, more-so the little girl. I have no earthly idea what it feels like for a child to see their Dad off to war, much less knowing if, and when he'll return. This surely is about The Joys of Being a Parent. God Bless Our Troops!Isn't This The Truth...
LMAO. How many times have you gone out with your friends to have one beer? LOL. For me, going out for a drink is like Lay's used to call it, "You Can't Eat Just One." In this case, it's the other way around, "You Can't Drink Just one." :-)

Movies to Watch: Apollo 18
This looks like it could possibly be a good movie. As to why it keeps getting pushed back, I have no idea. Maybe that's a government conspiracy as well. According to it's You Tube page, "in 2011, the release date was pushed back to January 6, 2012. Apollo 18 is currently scheduled for release on January 6, 2012. Originally scheduled for March 2011, the film's release date was moved three times during the year (to April 2011, January 2012, August 2011, then September 2, 2012)"
The trailer is pretty darn freaky, I actually liked it. Supposedly the footage in the movie "was found," and is not theatrical makeup. I don't know, it sounds kinda fishy to me. Maybe Michele, here, can answer it for you. LOL.
Here's the description from the trailer's YouTube page:

Here's the description from the trailer's YouTube page:
Apollo 18 is a found footage-style film set in December 1974, about a post-Apollo 17 mission to the Moon that takes on a premise of why NASA discontinued the Apollo moon missions. The plot involves a government coverup of the Apollo 18 mission after parasitic lifeforms on the Moon discovered the crew and began to attack them. Much of the back-story remains unknown; however, the movie posters in English indicate the Russian KGB role in Soviet lunar conspiracy and the Russian movie posters show inscriptions in English suggesting an American government cover up in lunar conspiracy. In the trailer, an American astronaut finds a dead cosmonaut and a Soviet LK Lander on the lunar surface.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dimension Films head Bob Weinstein denied the film was a work of fiction, stating that "We didn't shoot anything, we found it. Found baby!". This claim was met with some skepticism. The film will be distributed by Dimension Films.

Movies in Rewind: Green Lantern
If you were planning on seeing the Green Lantern, don't! If you already saw it, I'm so sorry.
I would wait for it on Blu-ray or DVD. Why? Because you can do more with your $8.50 ticket (if you're in Houston, TX), than spending it on a movie that was mediocre at best.
Yes, you get to see Ryan Reynold's buff body running and flying all over the place, but he was clothed in CGI for most of the film - 99 percent of it. Sorry little gay boys, but you only catch Ryan half-naked, maybe twice. While I'm not too familiar with the Green Lantern comics, word on the street is, the movie didn't do it justice. I'll be honest, I would have rather spent my money watching Super 8 again, but I didn't dislike the movie either. It had it's good moments and it's bad.
Here's the movie in two sentences or less. Muscle alien drops from space, and before he dies, gives his ring to Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern, who says he doesn't deserve such an honor - and says it about 20 times throughout the movie. At first he's afraid, then he's not, until he convinces the big kahunas in the sky, "we have nothing to fear, but fear itself," and heads down to kill this bad evil scientist with a big head, when he manages to kill a large cloud-like monster afterwards, The End.

Ryan and I didn't stay through the credits like we usually do, because our asses were hurting like hell in the cheap-ass theater we went to. According to online sources, there was a clip in the credits that we missed. Well guess what? I have the ending right here after the jump. Don't watch it if you don't want to be spoiled.

Movies to Watch: Immortals - The Latest Trailer
What's hotter than watching hot men with barely any clothes on fighting against each other? Nothing! LOL.
Tarsem Singh's movie, Immortals has all the fantasies women often desire, the warriors men wish they could be, and the erotica to make every gay boy's dream come true.

Cover Wars 5
Cover Wars is going to be real interesting this time around...
There were so many covers to this song that I couldn't post every single one of them against each other. So, because all of them were unique in their own way, I separated them into vocalist categories; Best Group, Best Male, Best Female, and Best Teen.
Each of the category winners will get a Cover Wars Gold Record that I will personally email them. It's not an actual vinyl record, but a recognition award just for being on my blog, so your vote is really important.
It was a difficult decision, but I chose the "best of the best" out of the videos below. After listening to over 200 covers over the weekend, I chose 50 that I liked, and managed to get it down to 22. At this point it was becoming really, really difficult, because I liked every one of them. This morning I came up with the idea of making it a "win by category" issue, and once again, as hard as it was, I was able to bring it down to 10 covers. I tried to bring the Group category down to two, but I couldn't.
The song being covered is "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. I think that everyone who has ever dated, been in a relationship, or has been married can relate to this song. The lyrics speak for themselves:
Type who you're voting for next to each category. The names are down below to the left of each video. I hope you enjoy listening to these covers as much as I did. Thank you for your cooperation. - Blade aka Peter

Coffee: The Greatest Addiction Ever
Caffeine is an insecticide that actually kills or paralyzes bugs munching on it's tree. It doesn't kill us, because we would need about 90 cups of coffee to equal the same amount of pain the buggies endure, and even then we pee it out constantly, so the chances of us dying from it are slim to none.
This is pretty cool video - it's only 4 minutes so I recommend watching it. Where does Caffeine come from? Who drinks it the most? How is it grown? These are just a few of the questions the video answers for you.

Where Is All The Water? - Continued
Last Monday, when I originally posted "Where Is All The Water?," I didn't realize someone had actually cut off part of the chart. While doing research for my "Foods That Will Make You Fat" series, I stumbled upon the other half of the chart. This took me by surprise, because I wasn't looking for it. Too Weird. In either case, here is the other half of last week's post, "Where Is All The Water?".

Foods That Will Make You Fat - Issue No. 14
I've grappled with the title of this series since it's inception. I don't know, "Foods That Make You Cringe," just wasn't working for me. While most of the food I was posting made me cringe, there were times I was posting foods people actually wanted to try. So, without further adieu, I welcome you to my re-vamped series, "Foods That Will Make You Fat." My favorite is the Tur-Bacon-uck-en. Yeah, you try pronouncing that too.
I don't even know what to say about this sandwich. It looks like it would stop one's heart from beating. There was no description available, but it looks like it has bacon, cheese, ground beef, and it looks like it could have egg, but not sure on that one. In either case, this will definitely make you fat.

Just in case you don't know, the Oreo is the fattest cookie on the planet - that's mass produced anyway. I'm sure we could make a cookie with a higher fat content if we tried. Oh wait, someone already has. Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

| Turbaconucken |
Seriously? A chicken inside a duck, stuffed inside a turkey, covered in Bacon? Really? Oh my lord, I'm sure this would be a great family favorite at Thanksgiving... if no one died of a stroke after the first bite! You think this would make you fat? I think so.

Fun Facts: The Mysterious Dollar Bill
I found this chart rather informative and wanted to share it with you all...
"Dollar bills: we look at them every day, yet how many of us truly pay attention to anything besides the denomination value? The fact is, numerous symbols adorn our currency and there has been intense debate over the decades of their meaning. Conspiracy theorists believe the imagery is rooted in Freemansonry and tied to the Illuminati (if you’ve read The Da Vinci Code or seen the movie, you know who they are). Others contend the imagery is strictly American and represents the foundations of our nation. In this infographic, we explain each symbol from both perspectives." - Debt Management – CreditSesame.com

The GOP Controlled Senate of New York just passed the same-sex marriage bill! We love you New York! All Americans can marry in New York in 30 days! Woo Hoo! As one Republican senator stated, he could not put himself to vote "no" for this bill, when he and his wife have 1300 rights in his state, and many other human beings do not.

The Joys of Being a Parent: The Hugger of the Dead - A Little Girl
I'll say it once, and I'll say it again... There's nothing like The Joys of Being a Parent. When the family dog, Ivy, decides to kill a squirrel, the little girl doesn't scream, she doesn't cry, and she doesn't grieve. Nope, she simply bathes herself with death, loving, and rubbing the dead squirrel with every measure of her being.
You can tell the parents are trying very hard not to overreact, they just want to make sure the child lets it go. Truly humorous.

Cover Wars 4 - The Results
I didn't have very many voters this week, but Eypee did manage to pull out a win for his rendition of Pink's hit song, "Fuckin Perfect." He was up against Peter from the Czech Republic and Marina Braga from Brazil. The total tally was Eypee 3, Marina 2, and Peter 1.
Congratulations Eypee! If you ever "Google" your name or a cover to a particular song, and you somehow manage to stumble upon my blog, I wish you the very best on your endeavours.

Bike Lanes Suck
So how do you prove that bicycle lanes are the dumbest thing in the book? Just tape a video of yourself crashing into things.
Last week, I posted a great video by Ron Gabriel, on the expansion of bike lanes in New York, and the issues that have arisen because of it.
This time around, Casey Neistat wishes to let everyone know he got a ticket for not riding on the bicycle lane. He informed the officer that bike lanes were not safe, hence, the video below.

Perform This Way by Weird Al Yankovic
The moment everyone's been waiting for! Weird Al Yankovic's parody to Lady Gaga's, "Born This Way," titled "Perform This Way."
You may recall, back in April I wrote a post on how Gaga "lost it" when she was asked about the comparison between her and Madonna. She simply yelled out, "That's retarded!" Then a few days later, she chewed off Weird Al's head for making a parody of her song. I suggested back then that she probably would be heading to Rehab soon, which was truly not the case. She later apologized for any misconceptions she, and her manager may have had about the song, and gave Weird Al permission to use it however way he pleased. Here's there video:

Fox News: The Lying Dynasty
This is simply genius. I'm not sure if you've ever visited the site PolitiFact.com; If you haven't, you should. It's a really cool website that reports on the truth and false statements given from Politicians. There is a "Truth-O-Meter," that will inform you if a statement is True, Mostly True, Barely True, Half True, a Flip Flop or just plain False. You even have a GOP meter, and an Obama Meter that shows what promises are being kept, and what's not. But this post isn't about PolitiFact.com, it's about Jon Stewart from "The Daily Show" getting back at Fox News for editing his interview with Chris Wallace on "Fox News Sunday." Being critical of Fox News is nothing new for Stewart, but due to their apparent falsifying of information, Stewart felt he needed to clarify a few things, with a little humor along the way.
First, Stewart apologized for bringing up a false statement of his own during his interview with Chris Wallace on Sunday, which was, "Who are the most consistently misinformed media viewers?" Stewart asked Wallace. "Fox viewers, consistently, every poll" Stewart answered.
After thorough investigative reporting, PoliticFact.com came to the conclusion that Stewart's statement was False:
The video is not only funny, but Stewart proves how much Fox News' statements are false. I really, really loved it.
The way Stewart phrased the comment, it’s not enough to show a sliver of evidence that Fox News’ audience is ill-informed. The evidence needs to support the view that the data shows they are "consistently" misinformed -- a term he used not once but three times. It’s simply not true that "every poll" shows that result. So we rate his claim False. So, without further adieu, the video below starts off with an apology from Stewart, and he does it by saying,
"I apologize for my mistake, to not do so would be responsible, and if I were to continue to make such mistakes, and misstatements, and not correct them. Especially if each and everyone of those misstatements happen to go in one very particular direction (gesturing w/hands to the right) on the political spectrum, well that would undermine the very integrity and credibility that I work so hard to pretend to care about. Hey, I wonder. You know what? I know PolitiFact checks mostly political statements from politicians and such, but has PolitiFact ever checked FOX for false statements? "He gestures towards his ear, and says, "I'm hearing they have."
The video is not only funny, but Stewart proves how much Fox News' statements are false. I really, really loved it.
Furthermore, the next day PolitiFact.com released the following post:
As many of our readers already know, a certain late-night comic aired a five-minute-plus segment last night featuring our work. We thought our readers might appreciate a one-stop-shopping source for all the Fox News-related fact checks that Jon Stewart cited on his June 21, 2011, show. So we created one.If you don't believe what the list proves, then all you have to do is read about it here, or do your own investigative reporting.

The Voice: Semi-Final Results Show
And the final four were chosen. If you missed yesterday's post on the Final 8 performances from Tuesday night's show, you can go here to view them, and read my reviews.
As I've mentioned many times before, The Voice has truly proven to be a better show than American Idol. In MHO (my humble opinion), I think the producers knew what they were doing when they put this show together. It was very entertaining, and all the semi-finalists are really good, despite some of my comments on Javier Colon.
So this is how the votes are calculated. You have the public's votes and the judge's points from the previous night combined together to make it a total of 200 points. On Tuesday night's show, each of the judges were given 100 points to distribute between their two contestants. It was obvious from last night's show, the public's votes were converted to a scale of 100% in order to make up the total of 200.
In reality, the Judge's votes are important, because they can actually make it to where one of their "favorites" makes it through regardless of the public's votes. All they would need to do is award their 100 points to one contestant, which was not the case last night. It came close, but it didn't turn out that way.

In brief, this is how it went down...
Team Cee Lo Green: Vicci Martinez garnered 124 points and Nakia 76 points; Cee Lo had awarded Nakia 51 to Dia's 49, but in the end the Public voted her through.
Team Adam Levine: Javier Colon garnered 138 points and Casey Weston 62 points; Simply put, Adam was a douche. He awarded Casey only 35 of his points and Javier 65. You obviously know who his favorite was, not that he really had to coach him, because the old guy can sing already.
Team Blake Shelton: Dia Frampton garnered 106 points and Xenia Martinez 94 points; Their total award was practically the same as Christina's team. Both judges gave each of their contestants 50 points each. Add in the public's percentage, and it gave them barely enough to overcome their competitor.
Team Christina Aguilera: Beverly McClellan 107 points and Frenchie Davis 93 points; As the case with Team Blake, the public's percentage helped Beverly make it through to the next round. Gay Power!

I'm voting for Beverly to win next week, but America will probably put Javier through. Ugh!

Gay Power!
"Hey Peter, when you mention "Gay Power" in your blogs what the hell does that mean?"
That was a comment from one of my readers after reading the statement on one of my posts.
Okay, Anonymous commenter, here's your answer...
For my partner, Ryan and I, it is a voice of reason for the few and the proud. This is something we usually do when we know there's "family" (gay slang for "He's a member of the family. He's gay."), on reality shows or elsewhere. This is our way of cheering for those few gays who make it through to the next round of a show, or already part of one.
For example, we screamed, and yelled "Gay Power" on June 9, 2011, when Daniel Joseph Baker from Katy, Texas appeared on the show, America's Got Talent. He stunned the audience with his rendition of Lady Gaga's, "Bad Romance." He did exceptionally well. Prior to his performance, we already knew he was Gay - you could only tell. As soon as the judges revealed their score, and we knew he was making it to the next round, Ryan and I looked at each other, and screamed, "Yay - Gay Power!"
Had he not made it through, we would have no one to yell, "Gay Power" to. It's just a form of celebration or statement indicating we have gays "in the house." The aforementioned "house" meaning "show" or "competition."
There's times we don't scream, "Gay Power," but we use it in regular conversation, "There sure is a lot of Gay Power on that show." In reference to a show having many gays on it. In a perfect example, this year's Season 8 of So You Think You Can Dance has a lot of Gay Power on it. It does, trust me. LOL.
Well, I hope you got your daily laugh of the day. I just had to explain it in the best way possible :-)
