A 30-Second PSA Sure To Have You Talking
"We Won't Go Back," the 30-second Public Service Announcement released just a few days ago has people in awe, and rightfully so. The Republican Party is doing whatever it can to overturn Roe vs. Wade and take things back to how they used to be, when women had no voice and women had no choice.
You may have recognized the the lovely actress in the video and couldn't put your name on it; she's Lisa Edelstein. She's been in a few movies; 'As Good As it Gets,' 'What Women Want,' & 'Daddy Day Care,' and many television shows, 'House MD,' 'Felicity', 'The Practice,' & 'The West Wing'.
Check out the video "We Won't Go Back," down below.

Lady Gaga Claims 1000th No. 1
"It is a tremendous honor," Gaga tells Billboard of the milestone. "To be the 1000th no. 1 on Billboard...I would be silly not to say this is the greatest honor of my career."
"I am so humbled and so honored and overwhelmed by the reception to 'Born This Way,' " Gaga adds. "[It] has been so life changing for me as an artist, and between Billboard and the international number ones and the radio numbers...I couldn't be more blessed to have the fans that I have."
Courtesy of Billboard.com are the other records she broke over the weekend:
On Radio Songs, the Hot 100's airplay component chart, "Born This Way" begins at No. 6 with a first-week audience of 78.5 million. That's the highest bow and largest opening airplay figure for a song since the tally began incorporating all radio formats in December 1998.
The arrival of "Born This Way" bests the previous debut record on Radio Songs, set when Janet Jackson's "All for You" soared in at No. 9 with 70 million in 2001.
With opening-week digital sales of 448,000, "Born This Way" likewise breaks barriers with the largest debut sum for a female artist. Britney Spears established the prior mark four weeks ago upon, the arrival of "Hold It Against Me" (411,000).
The opening of "Born" marks the third-largest debut among all digital tracks. Flo Rida's "Right Round" started with 636,000 in February 2009 and the Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" with 465,000 two months later.
Notably, "Born This Way" rewrites airplay and digital history after just five days of availability at radio and three days at online retailers. All I can say is... stop hating.
The song is also just the 19th title to debut at No. 1 in the Hot 100's history.
When I was growing up in the 80's, Michael Jackson, Madonna & Cyndi Lauper, were all despised and hated back then. In the 90's people hated Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears & Christina Aguilera. Hell, even the King of Rock n' Roll was hated back in the 50's when the Billboard's Hot 100 was created.
They all broke records, they all defied odds and they all ignored the Press. Gaga deserves her time, just like any other artist.

A Gruesome Murder After A Young Man Goes Back To Being Straight
Guys named Michael or guys named Michael with a surname of Anderson, who should I distance myself from? I'm going to say guys named Michael Anderson; I have a dear friend named Michael and I really don't want to single him out. And besides, he's hotter than these Anderson fools.
19 year old Michael Anderson of North Carolina took some cough medicine and then chopped up his roommate with an axe. Early Monday morning, Anderson can be heard telling the 911 operator, "I took some pills and, um, the pills made me go mad and I murdered my roommate. shot him three times and then I used an axe and mutilated his body." As Anderson was taken away, he told reporters he loved "as a friend" his roommate. But during the call, Anderson says, "I was straight and I wanted to go bisexual just to experiment and I went to a gay club and I met him and I went to his house. And he took me in and I turned straight again and he wanted to touch me and stuff and I wouldn't let him and he kept trying and I waited until he went to sleep and then I shot him 3 times and then I mutilated him very badly."
Officials said the murder scene was horrific. "Probably one of the worst scenes I have seen in my 30 years of law enforcement," Reid said.
"I TURNED STRAIGHT AGAIN!" What the hell is wrong with people these days?
"Oh lord, I don't know why I did this. … I can't believe I killed my roommate." he is very courteous to the 911 operator, saying yes ma'am, no ma'am, and then proceeds to tell her. "The axe is inside his stomach."
Too bad the idiot can't claim an insanity defense because presumably, according to his Facebook postings, he may have planned the murder. Two recent postings show one declaring his intent, " My killing starts tonight" and the second one after the deed was done, "I finally cracked guys, I really did it this time."

Keeping It Old Skool - Issue No. 3 - Garbage Pail Kids
Well... I never did say that I was writing only about toys of the 80's...
My 3rd issue of 'Keeping It Old Skool' were gross and they were hugely popular.
Oh I so did love my GPK’s. I spent several consecutive summers wasting week’s worth of allowances snatching up as many of these cards as I could.
Back in the day, Toys R Us would hock massive clear fifty-packs of these gems and I was all over those like stink on shit. Appropriate axiom, dontcha think?
Check out more of these fabulous trading cards/stickers.

And If The Queen Says It Shall Be, Then It Shall Be!
Gaga appeared on Jay Leno last night to make some clarifications. And as I have mentioned before, musicians have always been compared to those before them. Hell, even Madonna and Cyndi Lauper were compared to each other back in the 80's. Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Whitney Houston, Vanessa Williams, the list goes on. Live and let live people.
First, Gaga sets the record straight and tells Leno that the contraption she was carried in was not an egg, it's a “vessel.” And I can see that, because she was wearing some alien-looking prosthetics at the Grammys and on Leno last night.
Second, for those who think that animosity lingers between Madge and The Lady, Gaga clarifies, ”There is really no one that is a more adoring and loving Madonna fan than me,” and she makes it perfectly clear, “I am the hugest fan personally and professionally.”
And Finally, with her biggest statement to date, she continues with an astonishing adoration and shuts everybody up, “The good news is that I got an e-mail from her people and her,” Gaga says, “sending me their love and complete support on behalf of the single, and if the queen says it shall be, then it shall be.”
Here's a clip from last night's Jay Leno show. I also recommend watching the first part & part 3 down below.

You Are Buying Your Music At Wal-Mart, That's The Reason Your Artist Didn't Win
So who felt like they were robbed of a storybook ending last night? Gaga walked away with 3 Grammys, Eminemn 2, Bieber 0; and the world was devastated to learn that a band called "Arcade Fire," took their most coveted trophy of the night. But according to Alternapop, you are listening to the radio way too much and buying your music at Wal-Mart, hence the reason you don't know the bands and musicians who have been nominated more times and selling out more concerts than the ones you love.
"The Twitter world was full of “Arcade Fire who?” and “Who is Arcade Fire? I’ve never heard of them” postings. Maybe these people should turn off the radio and start buying their music from places other than the bin at the end of the aisle at Walmart.
Arcade Fire has released three solid albums and the previous two were also nominated for Album of the Year. (2004′s Funeral and 2008′s Neon Bible) If you’ve never heard of them until now, it might be time you evaluate your music sources.
Arcade Fire is only co-headling one of the largest and successful music festivals this April, Coachella, in Southern California, that sold out in a record 6 days, with Kanye and Kings of Leon.
The Suburbs was released by Merge Records, the indie label based in Durham, North Carolina, that has been home to underground acts like Lou Barlow, The Clientele, Superchunk and Neutral Milk Hotel. In addition to performing, Arcade Fire was up for three Grammys this year."
I still feel robbed! Just like when a Canadian won the "AMERICAN" Music Award's top prize. I don't know, I'm so tired of the academies that decide who should win what. And this goes for everything; from CMA's to AMA's, VMA's, Oscars, Golden Globes, etc., etc.. What do you think?

What The Hell Is A Gay Conservative Anyway?
GOProud is a conservative organization that brainwashes young gay men into thinking Ann Coulter, John McCain, Mitt Romney and the rest of the Republican establishment are going to support their causes. It's a sad story to read that young, good-looking men like 22yr old Tyler Whitney here, who's a member of this organization, attended this conference.
Dear GOProud Member, this is Peter speaking...
The idea of “gay conservative” is an oxymoron. “Gay” is everything that “conservative” is not. The foundation of the worldview that so-called “gay conservatives” embrace has far more in common with liberalism than with conservatism. No matter what your stand on government spending or taxes, you boys are "Gay."
A conservative will never like your agenda, they will never allow you to get married, they will never allow you to visit your man in a hospital; well...you can now, because of President Obama. But if given the chance, they would rip that out from under you too.
Don't forget, that by supporting these fools you are taking away your right to freedoms you wish you had, and are asking for. They let you attend the CPAC conference only for your money, not because they support your right to marry the man you want. They hate the very thought of two men kissing!
Hell, your minds get so twisted, that even your own gay members are losing it, like cutie Matt Hissey here. "I don't really like gay people that much. Gay people frustrate me, the stereotypical gay people, it frustrates me...someone who puts on a total act. I understand that some guys are feminine, which is fine. But some guys, at some point, are normal, straight-acting, whatever and the next minute they're jumping up and down. It just frustrates me. The whole conservative thing is just be yourself, be an individual and just don't be someone you're not. If someone does or does not accept you, that's fine but don't change who you are to look different to others." he alleges as seen in this video. The American Conservative Union, which sponsors CPAC, is quick to note that despite its decision to include GOProud as a participating organization, the group "has consistently adhered to traditional family values as our policy," incoming chairman Al Cardenas declares.
And for you gay conservatives, this includes opposition to same-sex marriage. Cardenas even stated, "it's going to be difficult to continue the relationship" with your organization in the future because of the leaders who hate you all so much.
You people, as cute and beautiful as you are, frustrate me. I'm done with all of you. Ugh, this post is pissing me off, But I write it for those who are not aware of the stupidity we face among our ranks.

A Tale of Two Losers
Two losers were on last night's episode of Saturday Night Live, a real one and fake one.
Chris Brown, who beat up Rihanna two years ago performed his new song "Yeah x3." And the fake Bill O'Reilly (who's a loser in real life) performed a skit on the President Obama interview that the 'real' Bill O'Reilly conducted before the Superbowl last week.
In either case, I thought the Chris Brown song sucked and the Bill O'Reilly skit was funny. Here's the skit from last night's show.

Ron Paul Kicking Obama Out of The White House
Ron came out of the conference with 30 percent of the straw vote, with Mitt Romney coming in second with 23 percent. All the other nuts, like Ricky Perry, Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, Chris Christie, Michele Bachmann, Mitch Daniels, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum and Tim Pawlenty came out with less than 7 percent of the vote.

Commentator Franz said it best when he stated, "Ron Paul is for freedoms as long as it doesn't infringe upon his right to discriminate. Like most Libertarians. What they mean by live and let live, and less government is Fuck everyone else as long as government doesn't touch my money and my rights. Fuck Ron Paul, his whole platform is undermined by his permissiveness in reserving full protection of the law and equal economic distribution only for straight Christians."
Alex Pettyfer and Two Girls Slobbering All Over Each Other
I guess whatever floats his boat, but couldn't he have had two guys kissing instead of two girls?
The "Beastly" star who has been making the rounds all over television and Hollywood seems to have a thing for same-sex kissing, with girls that is. Health & Fitness: The Spartacus Workout
So how do you get your body to look like the characters/actors in Spartacus? How about by advertising on Facebook that you can have your body look like a gladiator in no time? That's exactly where this workout is derived from. A forum titled SPARTACUS BLOOD AND SAND outlines the Spartacus workout.
I have included the workout in my blog, so get to it, what are you waiting for?
This cutting-edge circuit routine will strip away fat and define every muscle in your body.
To create the Spartacus workout, we chose 10 exercises that collectively work every part of your body, and then placed each at a 60-second station, in order to challenge your heart and lungs as well as your muscles. The final product: A high-intensity circuit that’s designed to burn away fat, define your chest, abs, and arms, and send your fitness levels soaring. So you’ll sculpt a lean, athletic-looking body—while getting in the best shape of your life.
Directions
Do The Spartacus Workout 3 days a week. You can either use the routine as your primary weight workout, or if you’re already in great shape, you can use it as a “cardio” workout on the days between your regular weight workouts.
Perform the Spartacus Workout as a circuit, doing one set of each exercise—or “station” in succession. Each station in the circuit lasts for 60 seconds. Do as many reps as you can in that duration (with perfect form), then move on to the next station in the circuit. Give yourself 15 seconds to transition between stations, and rest for 2 minutes after you’ve done one circuit of all 10 exercises. Then repeat 2 times. If you can’t go for the entire minute on an exercise, go as long as you can, rest for a few seconds, then go again until your time at that station is up. This will allow you to customize the workout to your current fitness level. Also, if using weights makes some exercises too difficult, simply perform the same movement without holding the dumbbells.
Station 1: Goblet Squat
Grab a dumbbell and hold it vertically in front of your chest, with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart [A]. Keeping your back naturally arched, push your hips back, bend your knees, and lower your body until the tops of your thighs are at least parallel to the floor. Pause, then push yourself back up to the start. If that’s too hard, do a bodyweight squat instead.

Tip: Lower your hips as deep as you can.
Station 2: Mountain Climber
Assume a pushup position with your arms completely straight. Your body should form a straight line from your head to your ankles [A]. Without allowing your lower-back posture to change, lift your foot off the floor and slowly raise your knee toward your chest [B]. Return to the starting position, and repeat with your left leg, alternating back and forth each repetition.

Tip: Lift your leg as if you’re climbing a mountain.
Station 3: Single-Arm Dumbbell Swing
Grab a dumbbell with an overhand grip and hold it in front of your waist at arm’s length. Keeping your lower back slightly arched, bend at your hips and knees and swing the dumbbell between your legs [A]. Keeping your arm straight, thrust your hips forward, straighten your knees, and swing the dumbbell up to shoulder level as you rise to standing position. Now swing the weight back and forth. At the 30-second mark, switch arms.
Tip: Use momentum to swing your arm up.

Boston Legal - Most Missed Show Hands Down, But wait...
If you were to ask me which show in the last 5 years I missed the most, I would tell you 'Boston Legal.' The show was created by one of the best American screenwriters and television producers this country has ever known, David E. Kelley.Ryan and I watched every episode, and over the past several months purchased all 5 seasons on DVD. Ironically enough, I have watched every show he's created.
Each show he's written and produced has won hundreds of awards, from Emmy's to Oscar's, Golden Globes to Peabody awards, this man has won them all.
Unbeknown to me, Kelley created a show right under my nose, without me even hearing about it, reading about it, or watching a trailer about it.
The creator of Ally McBeal, L.A. Law, The Practice, Picket Fences, Chicago Hope, Boston Public and Boston Legal introduced us to his new show, Harry's Law which premiered on January 17th of this year.
From NBC's website:
"Kelley weaves his rich storytelling into a new legal dramedy starring Academy Award winner Kathy Bates in the title role - about how people can embrace the unexpected and other curveballs that life can throw at them.
Harriet "Harry" Korn (Kathy Bates) doesn't believe things happen for a reason, but she discovers that they sometimes do. A curmudgeonly ex-patent lawyer, Harry is abruptly fired from her blue chip law firm, forcing her to search for a fresh start. She finds it when her world unexpectedly collides, literally, with Malcolm Davies, a kind-hearted college student who desperately needs Harry's help with his pending court case, and he subsequently goes to work for her.
Harry soon finds her balance as well as new offices in an abandoned shoe store just as legal hotshot Adam Branch accidentally hits her while driving. Inspired by Harry's no-nonsense understanding of the law, Adam decides to take leave of his shiny corporate firm to go and work with her. Harry, Adam and Malcolm - unlikely but kindred spirits - along with the help of Harry's shoe-savant assistant, Jenna, are now ready for whatever walks in through the doors of their unique establishment - Harriet's Law and Fine Shoes.I have included a few short clips of the first 4 episodes and I'm so drawn to this already. If I can't convince Ryan to watch this with me, then I'm alone on the net. The show definitely reminds me of David E. Kelley's, Boston Legal, with the possibility of it being greater.

Wormhole in The Fabric of Time
"Violating the laws of nature. Playing God. Capturing stuff we are not suppose to see. Potentially opening up a wormhole in the fabric of time." - Tom Guilmette
And that is exactly what Tom accomplishes when using his Phantom High Speed Digital Cinema camera. Capturing captivating images you normally wouldn't see. Imagine dropping a glass of milk, a pocket full of change, or simply watching a drop of water fall from a faucet, and you really don't notice much of anything.
During the hours of 2am and 6am (kinda sounds like Fox's 24, lol) Tom shot some test footage in his Las Vegas Palms Casino hotel room. He wanted to familiarize himself with the "Flex" version of the camera. I'm not familiar with this, but if you're a photographer I'm sure you do.
I wanted to share this mesmerizing video of the images Tom captured using this amazing camera.

Foods That Make You Cringe - Issue No. 3
In my third issue of 'Foods That Make You Cringe,' you have your choice of two delicious-looking cakes. One for breakfast and one for dinner, take your pick.
Every Thursday I'll be stating the obvious fact; that people make up the craziest shit, hence the reason people tell you, "This Is Why Your Fat." Yes, I know it's Saturday; I got behind on my regular posts.

And let the covers begin...
Usually when artists release their music, people tend to make a cover of the song within several days or months. Hell, even Justin Bieber and James Blunt tried to do a cover yesterday on Ellen.
But not this time...
Lady Gaga released her new self-titled track, Born This Way earlier this morning with positive and negative reviews. Regardless of the outcry, within minutes if not a few hours, the hit single became the #1 Selling iTunes download in 21 countries.
And with the releases, come new versions...
First up: Ulrik Munther - the Swedish version of Justin Bieber, has released a sample, and it's actually quite good.
Second Look: Drew Tabor - a you tube artist who learned and sang the song in 15 minutes and now considers "Born This Way" her favorite song to date.

Movies to Watch: X-men: First Class (First Official Trailer)
In one of the most anticipated movies of the summer, the first official trailer to X-men: First Class has been released. And no one is more excited than my partner, Ryan.
While I'll wait to reserve judgement, the trailer does it's job of teasing the viewer. These are the characters, before they became legend...
